Come on Sheikh Qabbani: Tell Us What You Really Think About the Palestinians.

Do you really want to know what most of the Arab world thinks about their beloved Palestinian brothers and sisters?

The Sunni Mufti of Lebanon, Sheikh Mohammed Rashid Qabbani–pictured above with his Hezbollah buddy Hassan Nasrallah–had a few choice words for the Palestinian delegation in his office in Beirut yesterday–a delegation representing the 400,000 Palestinians living in his country.

Declaring that these Lebanese Palestinians are stealing Lebanese Wakf lands to build houses on (does this sound similar to what happens in Israel where Palestinians also illegally build houses?), Qabbani launched into a tirade.

He began by furiously telling the Palestinians: “We’ve hosted you and no longer want you.” Then when the Palestinians objected, Qabbani continued: “You are trash. You will never be victorious. Nor will your cause. I’m no longer afraid of your weapons.”

Then he kicked the Palestinians out of his office.

One of the stunned Palestinians had this to say: “He called us trash. He didn’t even give us time to respond to his allegations.”

I wonder what that response would have been.
