There Is No Yom Kippur At The United Nations

TODAY’S UPDATE at 9:30 pm Wednesday:

Please note that the next full israelstreet blog will be posted on Thursday morning Israel time.

Yom Kippur ended three hours ago in Israel but there was no Yom Kippur at the United Nations.

Did you know that the U. N. recognizes and abides by all Christian and Muslim holidays–but refuses to recognize Jewish ones?  Hence, Judaism’s holiest day, Yom Kippur, was witness to two distinctly anti-Israel speeches from the U.N. podium.

The party was started by Ahmadinejad who referred to “uncivilized Zionists” in calling for a new world order.

Next, in the last two hours, President Morsi, Israel’s new “friend” on our southern border stepped up to the podium. In a bellicose speech in Arabic dedicated to Allah, the “prophet” Mohammed, and Islam, Morsi demanded an end to Israeli “colonialism” and the creation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Tomorrow comes Mahmoud Abbas of the PLO.

Your humble servant can hardly wait.
