Oh my god! Oh my god! What will happen if the American Embassy moves?

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

No fewer than 25 Palestinian terror attacks were reported yesterday.

Israeli soldiers and civilians were wounded in a non-stop stream of “rock” and Molotov attacks at places like Efrat, Hizma, Bir Nabala, Al Moaiir, Al Khader, Hebron Hills, Karmi Tzur, Psagot, Beit Hagai, Balata, and Hevron.

Five hours about cigars . . .

Do the Israeli police have no shame? And no sense of priorities?

It turns out that the police “grilled” Netanyahu for five hours yesterday about receiving cigars and occasional bottles of champagne from one of his friends.

Really? Cigars? Bottles of champagne?

When is the last time a guest came to your house and brought a bottle of wine or something else?

Cigars. Champagne. Recycled bottle. Garden furniture.

Can you believe that the Israeli police don’t have anything better to do with their time?

The battle over a possible Azariya pardon heats up . . .

After making prejudicial comments against Elor Azariya before and during his trial, and scandalously promoting the judge during the trial and the chief prosecution witness after the trial, IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot is now fighting tooth and nail against a possible pardon for our soldier.

The reports this morning are that Eisenkot and Netanyahu (who adamantly supports a pardon) are locked in an intense disagreement that may cost ultimately cost Eisenkot his job.

We can only hope so.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Oh my god! Oh my god! What will happen if the American Embassy moves?

In the face of an apparent plan by the Trump Administration to move the American Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the PLO has gone berserk in recent days issuing threat after threat.

A short list:

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat stated that he would resign his position.

[So what? Let him resign. Who really cares?]

Erekat said that the PLO would revoke its recognition of Israel.

[The PLO has never recognized a Jewish state of Israel. Whatever they have said about “recognizing Israel” is meaningless.]

The PLO has said that every American embassy in every Arab country would be closed because Arab leadership would not permit them to stay open.

[Really? The PLO is under the delusion that the Arab world cares about the Palestinians.]

PLO official Sultan Abu Al-Einen declared: “The transfer of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem will lead to renewed bloodshed.”

[Renewed bloodshed? When did bloodshed ever stop? No day goes by that Israelis are not wounded or killed in continuing Palestinian terror attacks.]

This morning, Mahmoud Abbas said that “If the American Embassy is moved to Jerusalem, the peace process is dead.”

[HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Nice joke Mahmoud. The peace process is and has been dead. It has been dead because the Palestinians do nothing except reject offers of peace.]

Yesterday, the Jordanian government joined the PLO in making threats. Government spokesman Mohammed Momani ranted:

“It will have catastrophic implications on several levels, including the regional situation . . . It would be a red line and inflame the Islamic and Arab streets.”

How absurd is all of this?

What all of these threats do is merely reinforce the necessity of moving the embassy. If the Arab world led by the PLO really believes that Jerusalem is not the capital of Israel, they need to be disabused of that notion as soon as possible.

Wouldn’t it be nice if Trump announced the move in his inauguration address?

We can only hope.
