The Truly Accurate Picture of the Day

The Moronic Quote Of The Day

“The announcement by Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which was quick to not take responsibility for the attack, is unprecedented. We recognize evidence that supports the credibility of this message. We have nothing to gain from a confrontation . . . Friday will be a test of Hamas provocations in the middle of the day.”

Security Cabinet member Tzachi Hanegbi–PM Netanyahu’s right hand man

Unprecedented? Hamas and Islamic Jihad always claim non-responsibility after missile attacks on anywhere outside the Gaza border. Remember what your humble servant predicted yesterday?

We recognize evidence that supports the credibility of this message? Israel rushing to believe Hamas and Islamic Jihad–remember what your humble servant predicted yesterday? By the way, Hamas and Islamic Jihad claimed last night that it was a “lightning strike” during a thunderstorm that caused “misfires” on Beersheva and Bat Yam.

We have nothing to gain from a confrontation? What about the safety of our citizens and soldiers?

Friday will be a test of Hamas provocations? Why Friday: we couldn’t sleep here in Ashdod last night because of the smoke coming from the fires on the Gaza border–fires set by Hamas terrorists after the supposed “ceasefire.” Remember what your humble servant predicted yesterday?

The Bizarrely Moronic Quote of the Day

“Last night, missiles were fired on us from Gaza. Only the quick response of a mother saved the lives of her children. Men, women and children all spent the night in shelters. Israel will not stand by while our people are under attack, and the world must know that.”

President of Israel Reuven Rivlin

Israel will not stand by while our people are under attack? This is precisely what Israel is doing everyday along the southern border–standing by while our people are under attack.

The Bizarrely Moronic Tweet of the Day

Look at the time stamp in the upper right hand corner. This was tweeted 12 hours after the house in Beersheva was hit.

Look at the time stamp in the upper right hand corner. This was tweeted 12 hours after the house in Beersheva was destroyed.

We will defend Israeli citizens? Tell that to the mother and her three children who narrowly escaped death in this houseonly because of the heroic actions of the mother.

The missile hit the bedroom of the three children who had been taken out seconds before by their mother.

The missile hit the bedroom of the three children who had been taken out seconds before by their mother.

There is still no explanation of why was there no Iron Dome in Beersheva. Last night, the IDF announced it might have a Beersheva Iron Dome battery in place by this morning.

The Most Accurate Quote of the Day

“What has been happening in the Gaza vicinity for many months now is an impossible reality. A sovereign state can not allow itself to be subject to this routine. It is a routine that we are not willing to live with, and the State of Israel will have to provide solutions.”

Rubik Danilovich, the mayor of Beersheva

Other News On The Israeli Street

If you think that Israelis only face terrorism on the Gaza border, think again. Israelis living in Judea and Samaria are attacked day in and day out.

In the past 24 hours:

Palestinian terrorists exploded a bomb at the Psagot security perimeter fence in an attempt to infiltrate the community.

Palestinian terrorists threw “rocks” and Molotovs at Israelis at Tekoa, Hizma, Azzun, El Aruv, Amos, the Hatti Junction in Gush Etzion, and a myriad of other locations.

Palestinian terrorists attacked a bus full of children at Ma’ale Amos; many children were traumatized, and the bus was damaged:

Summary of today’s blog:

Your humble servant does not have adequate words to express his admiration for the bravery shown by citizens of southern Israel and citizens of Judea and Samaria. What they go through everyday is literally a trial by fire.

At the same time, your humble servant does have adequate words to express his complete disgust at the utter unwillingness and inability of the Netanyahu government and the IDF General Command to protect those same citizens.
