Picture of the Evening:

A sign that went up in a square in Gaza City last night calling on Hamasniks to go to the border today. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand what Hamas wants its foot-soldiers to do.

The News on the Israeli Street

On the Gaza border:

An estimated 15,000 Hamasniks have been throwing grenades, IEDs, Molotovs, and other projectiles at our soldiers since noon today. No Israelis have been wounded as of this hour.

In Judea and Samaria . . .

El Aruv, Hizma, Hawara, Karnei Shomrom, Karnei Tzur, Beit Haggai, Neve Daniel, Neve Tzuf: these were a few of the places where Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs.

A resurgence in the South . . .

Even as incendiary balloons were launched on Friday by the hundreds from Gaza, Israelis were in Gaza border communities planting trees to replace the thousands that were destroyed in the fires of summer and Fall that were started by Palestinian kites and balloons.

One of the places hardest hit and a subject of today’s planting was Be’eri:

You may remember that more than 75% of Be’eri was blackened, but as you can see from the above picture the grass is green again in some places.

The room of Ari Fuld’s murderer is demolished . . .

As you can see, part of the top floor of the home was demolished.

As you can see, part of the top floor of the home was demolished . . .

And will be rebuilt within weeks.

The idea of blowing up one room in house is absurd and does nothing to deter terrorism because Israel allows the families of terrorists to immediately reconstruct whatever room was “demolished.”

The new PLO law . .  .

Virtually unreported this week has been the new PLO law which requires that all employers and employees in Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria to pay into a PLO managed fund.

Ostensibly, the purpose of that fund is is to pay pensioners. However as all Palestinians know, the reality is that the money will be used to line the pockets of Mahmoud Abbas and all of his corrupt minions.

Dubbed the “social security law”, the new legalism has sparked widespread Palestinian protests.
