**The daily Palestinian terror report from yesterday . . .

If this is not an intifada, then what is?

It was an explosive day all across eastern Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria. Israelis were attacked while on buses, in cars, in their homes, at work, and walking down the street. Most of the examples below were “rock” attacks.

Palestinian terrorists attacked buses in Hebron (12:15 am this morning), and at the Hizma checkpoint in the Benjamin area (11:20 pm). In both cases, the buses had windows smashed, and passengers were traumatized.

Palestinian terrorists attacked cars in Silwan (8:26 pm), near Aboud on the Trans-Binyamin highway (6:09 pm), and at Beit Horon on Road 443 (3:34 pm).

Palestinian rioters attacked Israeli security personnel in A-Ram near Jerusalem (9:13 pm), Jenin (9:11 pm), A-Tur (9:10 pm), Bethlehem (8:44 pm) Border Guards were hit by Molotov cocktails, Issawiya (7:30 pm)–more Molotov cocktails, Gush Etzion (6:27 pm and 12:42 pm), Qalandiya (6:23 pm), and at Shuafat (3:45 pm).

Palestinian terrorists set fire to the area around the Jewish community of Har Bracha (7:34 pm).

Palestinian terrorists smashed windows on the Jerusalem Light Rail at Shuafat (7:21 pm and 6:00 pm).

Palestinian terrorists attacked a Jewish man on a motorcycle on Emek Refaim St. in Jerusalem (2:33 pm). He had to be taken to a hospital for examination.

Palestinian terrorists attacked a Jewish pedestrian in Beitar Illit (12:09 pm). He was moderately wounded.

A Palestinian terrorist tried to stab a Border Guard at the Tapuach Junction in Samaria (6:00 pm).

A Palestinian terrorist from Gaza infiltrated an Israeli community on the Gaza border around midnight last night. He was captured.

Needless to say, the situation is completely out of control.

**Alexander Levlovitz was buried yesterday afternoon . . .

The body of Alexander Levlovitz being taken to its final resting place.

Attended by hundreds, the funeral took place at the Givat Shaul cemetery at the entrance to Jerusalem. Levlovitz was murdered two days ago when Palestinian terrorists hit his car with “rocks” causing it to crash.

Unsurprisingly, no one in the United Nations, European Union, White House, or virtually anywhere else has condemned this heinous crime.

You may remember that the Jerusalem Police immediately got a gag order prohibiting any details about Levlovitz and any information about the attack from being published.  At the same time, the Police even brazenly suggested that Levlovitz was himself responsible for a “self-inflicted accident.”

Of course, all of that was just obfuscation to hide the utter negligence of the Jerusalem Police. PM Netanyahu went to the site of the murder yesterday, and called it what it was: “a murder.”

Shortly thereafter, the gag order was lifted, and this is what the Police did not want us to know:

1. Levlovitz had just attended a Rosh Hashana dinner with his family.

3. The “rock” attack completely smashed the front windshield of Levlovitz’s car.

Here is what another of Levlovitz’s children, his son Nir, said at the funeral yesterday: “How can we go on without you? How can we laugh without you? Dad, rest in peace in the soil of the country and the city you loved so much–the city where you were born, grew up and were murdered.”

One of his daughters, Aviv, added:  “Even the sky is weeping . . . You were dancing at a wedding with everyone last week. I can not imagine you are not with us; you were a person who helps everyone . Who would believe this is happening to us?”

Alexander Levlovitz: a proud son of Jerusalem and of Israel.

May Alexander Levlovitz rest in peace.

TODAY’S BLOG:

Your humble servant has always been intrigued by the international community’s absurd embrace of Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen) as a Palestinian moderate.

Part of this unseemly embrace is because of the way that Yasser Arafat and Abbas were ludicrously embraced by Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres back in late 1980s and early 1990s as a prelude to the signing of the despicable Oslo Accords.

Even until this day, Peres continues to laud Abbas as he did back in 2012: “President Mahmoud Abbas is a partner for peace. I’ve known him for 30 years. No one will change my opinion about Abu Mazen.”

Another reason for the international embrace is that Abbas is particularly adept at talking out of both sides of his mouth. International leaders know that the terrorist incitement that he regularly urges against Israel will first be mouthed in Arabic, and then eliminated in the English versions of what he has said.

Take for example what Abbas said in Arabic last year on November 11, 2014, on the tenth anniversary of the death of his mentor Arafat:

“We will not allow our holy places to be contaminated. Keep them away from us and we will stay away from them, but if they enter al-Aqsa, [we] will protect al-Aqsa and the church and the entire country.”

The above is a non-authorized translation of the Arabic spoken by Abbas. When the authorized English version appeared, it was “cleaned up” and read:

“We will defend Muslim and Christian holy places. If they enter Al-Aqsa, we will protect it and East Jerusalem.”

The simple truth is that Mahmoud Abbas is first, last, and always a terrorist.

As we have noted many times on israelstreet, Abbas was a close protege of Yasser Arafat back in the 1960s when they formed the PLO, he participated in numerous terrorist attacks against Israel (including funneling the funds to the terrorists who carried out the 1972 Munich massacre of Israeli Olympic athletes), and he was intimately involved in many of the suicide bombings between 1995-2007.

So, for your humble servant, Abbas’s comments yesterday, in Arabic to a group of eastern Jerusalem “activists” (aka terrorists) were completely predictable:

“Al-Aqsa is ours and so is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. They have no right to desecrate them with their filthy feet. We won’t allow them to do so, and we will do whatever we can to defend Jerusalem.”

As you can surmise, the above is a non-PLO authorized translation.

Of course, the filthy feet of the Jews is taken straight out of a Muslim Hadith. And the specific “Church of the Holy Sepulchre” belonging to the Palestinians is taken straight out of the Palestinian revisionist history of making Jesus a Palestinian. As for defending “Jerusalem” instead of “East Jerusalem”, that is what Abbas always says in Arabic.

But do you think anyone was listening to Abbas yesterday–or even cares? We’ll check today, and discover if any international entity or news organization publicizes what Abbas said. Tomorrow we’ll publish the results of our search.

“They have no right to desecrate them with their filthy feet”–straight from the mouth of Mahmoud Abbas, “a moderate Palestinian peacemaker.”
