*Quietly, Russia has brought Iskander-M missiles into Syria. The Iskander-M has a range of 500 km and can carry nuclear weapons. This is the first time since 1973 that Israel is in such range.
By the way, Russia’s introduction of this missile into the Syrian conflict was only found inadvertently. Russian Zvezda TV broadcast a program which included a photograph of the missile system on the western side of the Syrian Humaymim Air Force Base.

*Speaking of the introduction of armaments into the Middle East, it was revealed yesterday that the U.S. has flown B-52 bombers into an American air force base in Qatar. No numbers were given, but the purpose of the bombers is clear . . . carpet bombing of Islamic State positions.

The irony of this situation is that American president candidate Ted Cruz has long advocated the use of B-52s against IS, and in the process has been roundly castigated by every other presidential candidate–not to mention President Obama.
*Numerous agricultural protests have broken out in the last few days. Farmers in the north are angry that water previously reserved for their crops is now being diverted to Jordan.
The signs basically read that the government doesn’t have the courage to deal with the water problem.
Cucumber farmers elsewhere in the country are infuriated over how cheap cucumbers from Jordan and Gaza are being allowed to flood the Israel market driving prices down.

Note the flyer on the column in front of the Kipat HaSela (the Dome of the Rock). The flyer reads that the cameras must be destroyed in order to protect Al-Aksa.
Remember, that from an Islamic Wakf/Jordanian/Palestinian perspective, the purpose of the cameras is supposedly to show how Israelis “are attempting to take over the Mount” and “Judaize it.” Yet here we have Palestinians threatening to rip the cameras out.
Why? Because the cameras won’t show any Israeli takeover whatsoever. If placed correctly, they will show how Palestinian terrorists regularly attack Jews on the Mount, regularly use the Al-Aksa Mosque as a terrorist headquarters, and regularly use the entire Mount as a demonstration platform for the PLO, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Islamic State.
