The Gaza War Day 199 , The War in the North

Yom Shnee

Special Notice

Pesach (Passover) begins tonight at sundown. Its message of liberation and freedom has special meaning this year as we think of those still held by Palestinian terrorists in the tunnels of Gaza.

We will set an empty plate at our seder table tonight to remind ourselves of their captivity, the horrors of October 7th, and necessity of eliminating the HamISIS barbarians.

Our OneIsrael Campaign For Our Soldiers

IDF soldiers on the ground need basic protective gear, armaments, and supplies.

Even during the recent Iranian attacks soldiers were forced to lie in open trenches to protect themselves from incoming missiles and drones as they have been doing for months on the Gaza and northern borders.

OneIsrael is now engaged in a campaign to help protect our soldiers. This campaign will extend through Passover and to Shavuot.

Please consider donating to our campaign by clicking on the donate button in the right hand column on this page. All donations go directly to our soldiers.

Thank you to those of you who have already contributed to the protection of our brave men and women in uniform!

UPDATE 8:00 AM

Breaking News

2 Israelis have just been “moderately” wounded in a run-over attack beside a synagogue on Tchelat Mordechai Street in Jerusalem in the last 30 minutes.

Two terrorists fled the scene--dropping a machine gun that jammed as the terrorists attempted to fire it and an axe–as they fled. Police and security forces are now engaged in a manhunt.

We hope that this is not the beginning of plague of terror during Passover.

On the Ground in Judea and Samaria

*There was an attempted stabbing attack yesterday at the Bekaut Barrier when a female terrorist tried to stab IDF soldiers. She was shot and killed.

*An Israeli community member was wounded yesterday when he removed a booby-trapped Palestinian flag from a field near his community (the same “Angels of Peace” community near the place where 14-year-old Binyamin Achmeir was murdered last week). Click here to see the short, amazing video.

It has just been announced that the murderer of Binyamin has been captured. He is a 21-year-old Palestinian from Duma.

On the Ground in the North

Hezbollah shot down an IAF unmanned drone in southern Lebanon with a surface to air missile. The launch site of the missile was subsequently destroyed.

On the Ground in Gaza

The Rafah maneuver nears . . . from the IDF spokesman:

“The Chief of Staff, Major General Herzi Halevi today (Sun) held a situation assessment and approval of plans for the continuation of the war in the Southern Command, with the Commander of the Southern Command, Major General Yaron Finkelman and other commanders.”
