NUMBER OF DAYS UNTIL THE ISRAELI ELECTION: 7
ISRAELSTREET endorses NAFTALI BENNETT for Prime Minister
Head of “HaBayit HaYehudi” (The Jewish Home) political party
“We can’t have peace with the Palestinians. Enough. How long can we talk about this? We can only reach coexistence . . .”
UPDATES 6 pm Israel time Monday:
*Excellent demographic news out of Israel this morning: the birthrate (3.0) of Jewish women continues to rise and the birthrate (3.51) of Muslim women continues to decline; (the Jewish birthrate was 2.53 in 1995, and the Muslim birthrate was 4.74 in the year 2000.)
The Central Bureau of Statistics predicts that proportion of Jews versus Arabs will continue to widen (even more dramatically as more orthodox and ultra-orthodox women have children). By the end of 2035, the CBS estimates that Jews will number between 7.7 and 9 million while the Arab population will be between 2.3 and 2.9 million.
*There has been an outbreak of “shooting” incidents in the last 24 hours as Palestinians attempted to breach the separation fence, attack a guardpost to a Jewish community, and assault the Gaza Border fence yet again. With every effort of the IDF General Command to be more politically correct, the number of violent attacks increases.
*Ethnic cleansing continues taking place throughout Syria. Members of Bashir Assad’s Alawaite sect are fleeing from all over Syria to a narrow coastal strip in which the “Free Syrian Army” has announced that “unarmed Alawites” will be safe. Sure. And if you believe that, your humble servant will sell you some waterfront property in Mali.
TODAY’S BLOG:
With its bottomless and nauseating gall, the European Union is pushing ahead with an elaborate plan due out in March to restart Palestinian-Israeli negotiations. The plan will “demand” that:
*The borders of the Palestinian state be based on the 1967 (1949) armistice lines
*East Jerusalem be the capital of the new Palestinian state
*Israel freeze all building in the Jewish communities and neighborhoods of Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem
It is very much perfect that they go away without the need for medical assistance. levitra pills for sale It maybe is particularly termed fast, viagra pfizer online razor-sharp, recurring, and also monotonous painfulness seen below the washboard tummy. However, both high viagra in india cholesterol and erectile dysfunction are reversible. They significantly allow erection when man is cheapest tadalafil india stimulated for sex.
*Israel follow a strict timetable for negotiations
The plan is being developed by the European Union collectively and the French, British, Germans, Jordanians, Egyptians, Egyptians, and other Arab countries in the Gulf individually.
Everyone except Israel.
But “listen” to the idiotic comments of a senior official in the Israeli foreign ministry:
“They are drafting a document which will present the principles of the future peace accord, putting it on the table as a challenge. It is likely the Palestinians will accept it and that Israel will have some difficulty. It will drive us into the corner.”
Even more absurd were the comments of Tzipi Livni of the ever fading Tzipi Livni party (now down to 7 or 8 seats in the polls for the Israeli election next week):
“In March the world will present us with a peace plan – either it will be forced upon us or we come up with our own plan. If we form an Israeli plan we could renew the alliance with the region’s moderates and will be able to better deal with the extremist front. It is therefore important to have a government which promotes a real peace process.”
“Drive us into a corner”? “It will be forced upon us”?
When will Israel ever learn to say “Enough!”? When will Israel ever learn to say “No, we are not going to engage in any more one-sided ‘peace talks'”? When will Israel ever learn to tell the Europeans and Arabs what they can do with their endless propaganda efforts in support of the Palestinians?
If we come up with our own plan? What cave has Tzipi Livni been living in? Where was Livni when Oslo was offered to the Palestinians? Where was Livni when Barak offered everything to the Palestinians? Where was Livni when Olmert offered everything plus more to the Palestinians?
There is no plan that will ever bring peace between Israel and the Palestinians because the Palestinians do not want peace. They want Israel.
