The News on the Israel Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists ran amok in Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem attacking Israeli men, women, and children with “rocks” and Molotovs in such places as:
Nili, Khirbet Qalqis, Mount Hevron, Beit Haggai, Anatot, Qalqilya, Al-Aruv, Salfit, Tekoa, Shuweika, Psagot, Beitar, Jayyus, Burqa, Jericho, the Halhul Bypass Road, Jiftlik, Hevron, Tuku, Hawara, Rachel’s Tomb, Luban Al Sharqiya, Azzun, the Husan Bypass Road, Issawiya, just outside of Ariel, Deir Ibiza, Deiheishe, A-Ram, Beit Anan, Bil’in, and Al-Fawwar.
Numerous Israelis were wounded in these attacks: drivers and passengers in cars, bus drivers and passengers, and “pedestrians.”
All reports above come from citizens on the ground and were reported to Rescue Judea and Samaria, rotter, and hakolhayehudi.
The “poor” Palestinians . . .
All the international media ever reports is how the poverty stricken the Palestinians are. No money for food, no money for infrastructure, no money for anything–except for paying hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorists for trying to kill and killing Israelis.
And another $50,000,000 dollars for a luxurious private airplane for Mahmoud Abbas. After all, how can Abbas be expected to travel around the world begging for “humanitarian” money from donors and demeaning Israel at every stop, if he does not have his own private airplane?
President Trump and PM Netanyahu in Davos today . . .
In a joint appearance, Netanyahu praised Trump for his Jerusalem Declaration, the decision to accelerate moving the Embassy, his stance on Iran, and how the U.S. supports Israel in the United Nations.
For his part, Trump thanked Netanyahu and praised him as someone who wants peace. He went on to say that the Jerusalem Declaration was correct, but that “Israel would have to pay” for that Declaration “if peace talks ever take place.” He went on to say that a new U.S. peace plan will be soon be published, but that Jerusalem is now “off the table.”
However, Trump spent most of his time blasting the Palestinians for “disrespecting the U.S.” for refusing to meet with Vice President Pence on his recent visit. Trump was especially critical of the Palestinian refusal because of “the hundreds of millions of dollars” that the U.S. gives the Palestinians–a fact that he repeated several times.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how Trump’s remarks played in Ramallah. Jerusalem off the table? That’s a non-starter for Palestinian involvement in peace talks.
Palestinian ingratitude, Palestinian disrespect, Palestinian intransigence–all the focus of Trump’s wrath? The Palestinians cannot possibly appreciate the fact that Trump has put the onus for peace talks where it belongs–squarely on them.
More major developments in moving the American Embassy . . .
When Vice President Pence declared before the Knesset the other day that the move of the Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem will take place by the end of 2019, it was assumed that the diplomatic wheels would slowly pick up speed.
Instead, Americans have hit the accelerator.
Yesterday, it was revealed that the U.S. has purchased the Eden Hotel in the Arnona neighborhood and has already started moving equipment and boxes into building. The Eden Hotel is located several blocks away from two buildings the U.S. already owns: the Consular Section on Flusser Street and the former Diplomat Hotel located directly behind it.
The Arnona neighborhood is quickly becoming the American neighborhood.
Interestingly, the U.S. State Department under the direction of Secretary of State Rex Tillerson continues to deny that the move will be made by next year despite Pence’s statement three days ago, and Trump’s statements this morning to the contrary.

A Snake In The Grass:
John Kerry Rears His Ugly Head Again
In a remarkable news story from yesterday, it was reported that former Obama Secretary of State John Kerry is continuing his endless effort to undermine Israel.
In this latest incident which took place in London, Kerry met with Hussein Agha–one of the Mahmoud Abbas’ closest and most senior advisors.
According to the report in the Maariv newspaper (later confirmed by the Palestinians) what did Kerry say to Agha?
He said that Mahmoud Abbas should “hold on and be strong.” More than this, Kerry asked Agha to tell Abbas to “play for time and not break and yield to President Trump’s demands.”
Can you believe this?
Kerry went on to assure Agha that President Trump “will not remain in office for a long time”, and that there is a “good chance” that Trump will be ousted “within a year.”
Incredible.
Not really. John Kerry is a snake in the grass. That he would actively work to undermine Israel and the current American administration is completely believable.
By the way, it was reported this morning that from the time the disastrous Iranian Nuclear Weapons Appeasement Agreement was signed by Kerry and Obama until today, the Iranians have launched 23 ballistic missiles–many of which were capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
