Alerts In The Last Hour:
From the IDF to residents of southern Israel:
“In the coming hours, there will be more massive attacks than usual in Egypt in the area of the triangle of borders, and therefore there will be a bombardment in our region.”
There have been reports all day of large Egyptian troop movements in the area where Gaza, Egypt, and Israel come together.
From the Israel Meteorological Service:
There is an immediate flood alert for the Negev Desert in the areas of the Arava and highlands.
This flood alert is for precisely the same area where the ten Israeli teenagers drowned several days ago.

Palestinian terrorism in the last 24 hours . . .
Two armed Palestinian terrorists, one of whom was released from prison last week, were captured near the entrance to the Adam community in Binyamin.
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs at Nebi Elias (woman wounded), Karmi Tzur, Beit Ummar, El Khader, Gilead, Itamar, Psagot, Kochav Yair, Tekoa, and a host of other places.
IDF sappers defused an IED on the security fence of Givon near Jerusalem.
IDF sappers also defused three IEDs near the location of the Samaria Military Court.
A Palestinian terrorist blew himself up in what is described by Hamas as a “work accident” at his home in Sujayia in Gaza. Hamas issued a statement praising his “martyrdom.”

Justice comes to another Palestinian terrorist . . .
It turns out that yet another terrorist who participated in the attack on IDF soldiers near Nahal Oz back in 2014 was killed in an IAF retaliatory strike on Gaza last month.
How many attacks do we not hear about? . . .
IDF Chief of Staff Eizenkot revealed today that in recent weeks the IDF has repelled numerous attempts by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza to penetrate Israeli communities along the border and kidnap or kill Israelis living in them.

The Dead Sea inundated with trash . . .
With the recent floods, tons of trash have washed into the Dead Sea from both Israel and Jordan–along with the sewage that always comes from Palestinian Areas A and B.
Thousands of plastic bottles combined all sorts of other refuse have created a large island in the middle of the Dead Sea.
The ancient Jews return . . .
As we had previously reported several years ago, five young Chinese women from the long-dead Jewish community of Kaifeng, China have been in Israel converting to Judaism.
These women are all descendants of Jews and in fact still have “Jews” listed on their Chinese identification documents.
Today, these women all completed their two-year conversion process and became Israeli citizens.
Kolakevod to them!

Insanity and Sanity:
Reactions to Yesterday’s Iranian Revelations
If there was one theme of PM Netanyahu’s powerpoint presentation to the world, it was that Iran cannot be trusted.
At every step along the way stretching back for decades, the Iranians have lied to the International Atomic Energy Agency and each entity that has negotiated with them concerning nuclear weapons development and production.
At no point was this mendacity more in play than during the negotiations that resulted in the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Appeasement Agreement produced by President Obama, John Kerry, and rest of the P5+1 countries.
And yet, the reaction of much of the world yesterday and today has bordered on insanity. It has been as if Netanyahu’s words went in one ear and came out the other. What it really shows is that the world is so invested in its fraudulent diplomacy that nothing the Iranians can say or do will dissuade western countries from embracing Tehran.
Here are two representative comments.
From the IAEA in Vienna:
“There have been no credible signs of Iranian activity relevant to development of a nuclear bomb since 2009 . . . [ the IAEA] is making assessments of the information available to it, relevant to the security apparatuses connected to compliance with the agreement.”
To put it a different way, the IAEA has no reason to disbelieve the Iranians.
Predictably nauseating.
From the British Foreign Minister:
“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech showed the importance of preserving the nuclear agreement. The nuclear agreement with Iran was based on restrictions imposed on it, and not only on trust.”
Not only on trust? What trust can there possibly be? The bottom line for the Europeans is simple: the Appeasement Agreement must be preserved at all costs.
We could go on and on.
However, on the other side we had comments from the Arab world led by Saudi Arabia which applauded Netanyahu for making the revelations.
And the following comments came from Washington:
“These facts are consistent with what the United States has known for a long time. Iran had a significant and secret weapons program that it tried unsuccessfully to hide from the world and its citizens.”
Your humble servant finds it ironic how President Trump, who is often absurdly described as being mentally unstable, is the only Western leader sane enough to understand the reality of the Iranian situation.
