Quote of the Day:
(The absurdity of the Iran Appeasement Agreement revealed yet again)
“We are capable of reaching 20 percent uranium enrichment within three days.”
Behruz Kamalundi, official spokesman for the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization
What did the Iranian Nuclear Weapons Appeasement Agreement accomplish?
Nothing.
The John Kerries, Barack Obamas, and Emmanuel Macrons of the world want you to think that the Appeasement Agreement has made the world a safer place.
But the truth is that the centrifuges are still running, and it will take 3 days for everything to be back to where it was.
3 days. 72 hours.
And not only did it not accomplish anything, but the Appeasement Agreement also made the situation infinitely worse. Because the Appeasement Agreement did not even address ballistic missiles, the Iranians have spent the last two years developing missiles to deliver the nuclear weapons they are developing.
Deliver to Israel.
The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
–Palestinian terrorists continue sending Molotov kites into Israel, and southern Israel continues burning.
According to the latest statistics, more than 250,000 dunams of land (62,000 acres) have been burned by some 295 fires. This morning, a consortium of Israeli farmers filed suit in The Hague accusing the Palestinians in Gaza of war crimes.

TODAY’S BLOG:
Ronen Lubarsky and “Rocks”
As we reported yesterday, Ronen Lubarsky, our Duvdevan soldier who was critically wounded in the Palestinian settlement of Al-Amari, has died.
He was buried last night on Mt. Herzl.
He was buried while surrounded by his grieving family and friends:
At the funeral, Ronen’s commander said:
“[You are] the son of a family of warriors, the salt of the earth. While we prayed at your bedside in the hospital, your mother pointed at members of the family and said, ‘They’re all warriors, but Ronen is the best.’ Your mother was right. You were among the finest fighters in the unit.”
Ronen was a heroic son of Israel, and today I’d like for you to think about how he died.
Everyday on israelstreet, we report on Palestinian terrorists in Judea, Samaria, and eastern Jerusalem who attack our citizens and soldiers with “rocks.”
There is a tendency to think of “rocks” as a benign form of weapon, but they are anything but.
The reason I always put the word “rocks” in quotation marks is because “rocks” are not only “rocks” but also concrete blocks and any other “rock-like” projectile terrorists throw.
Ronen was killed by a “rock”—a 10 kg marble slab–that was thrown off a three story building and hit him in the head. The impact of the slab destroyed his helmet and his head; he never regained consciousness.
The reason that we use the term “rocks” is that no differentiation is made between rocks, concrete blocks, or marble slabs when reports are made by citizens to reporting agencies.
For example, when we reported above that Palestinian terrorists in Judea and Samaria attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs at Tikkun, El Aruv, throughout Gush Etzion, on Route 443, the Tunnel Checkpoint, Tekoa, Azzun, Beit Ummar, on Road 458, and Hawara, we really don’t know what the “rocks” were. All we know is that they were “stone-like” objects.
Finally today, let’s remember Staff Sgt. Ronen Lubarsky as the proud fighter that he was–and remember that the operations that his unit of the Duvdevan carry out every night are what keep the rest of Israel safe.
May Ronen’s memory be forever blessed.
