The drone infiltration from Syria yesterday . . .
Another drone from Syria was shot down by an Israeli Patriot missile around 3:30 pm yesterday afternoon. The drone was picked up as it was flying over Jordan causing alarms to sound all over the Golan.
Four fighter planes and two helicopters were flown to the scene, but as you can see from the video below, the Patriot missile obliterated the aircraft whose pieces then fell in the Kinneret:
The Patriot missile that was fired was launched from the 138th Battalion based in Tzfat. The IDF spokesman indicated today that the specific Patriot Battery that intercepted the drone is commanded by Captain Or Na’aman who commented: “We operated professionally, without hesitation and full success. We were in continuous contact all the time on purpose. I’m very proud of the battery.”

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs at the Beit Hut Junction near Hawara, the Karmela Junction beside Tekoa, between Hizma and Anatot, on Roads 443 and 458, throughout Gush Etzion, and at a myriad of other places.
Palestinian terrorists launched another 17 incendiary devices into southern Israel which caused more fires.

February 13, 2019: Israel Lands On The Moon!
What we hope the scene will be seven months from now.
Ok, your humble servant is fully aware that the above announcement may be premature, but still the news yesterday that SpaceIL plans to land an Israeli spacecraft on the moon on that date is exciting.
Set to be launched in December of this year, the tiny spacecraft measures 5 x 2 meters and weighs 600 kilograms (most of which is fuel).
It will be carried into space on a SpaceX rocket and released at an altitude of some 37,282 miles. It will then orbit the Earth in increasingly wide elliptical orbits until it reaches the Moon.
Upon landing, the spacecraft will implant an Israeli flag and begin to beam video back to Earth. If all goes well, Israel will thus become the fourth country to reach the moon (after the U.S., Russia, and China).
It should be an exhilarating moment. Let’s hope that the preparations go well, the launch is successful, the orbit is achieved, and the landing goes smoothly.
