The Kind Of Picture We Don’t Want To See Anymore
Another empty “Hamas” building blown up yesterday by the IDF.
Israelis, particularly southern Israelis, are no longer impressed by pictures like the one above that was taken yesterday. It is fine for the IDF to blow up buildings, but first we should be sure that there are terrorists inside. Pictures like the one above show nothing except Israeli impotence.

Our Gutless Government Caves In Again
So here we sit in southern Israel thirty six hours after the latest Hamas and Islamic Jihad rampage. 258 missiles and mortars launched into southern Israel which wounded tens of Israelis and traumatized hundreds more. 258 missile and mortars launched into southern Israel which damaged apartment buildings, homes, and vehicles.

The missiles and mortars stopped last night for the same reason that they always do. Not because Israel brought Hamas to its knees, but because Hamas brought Israel to its knees leaving Israel to plead to Egypt to establish a ceasefire.
And so Egypt did, but the hilarity of comments this mornings further underscores the utter gutlessness of our government. No one in the government is willing to admit that there is a ceasefire though everyone acknowledges that there is one. No one is willing to take responsibility for the failures of fighting yet another bloody round of terrorism from Gaza.
The truth is that the IDF did precious little fighting in this round. The only wonder is how in the world did the IDF find 150 empty buildings in Gaza to bomb?
More hilarity has come this morning in the discussion of how the IDF “really wanted” to go after Hamas but was not permitted to do so.
Some say that our non-Defense Minister Lieberman really wanted to destroy Hamas but Netanyahu wouldn’t let him.
Some say that our do-nothing IDF Chief of Staff Eizenkot really wanted to destroy Hamas but Lieberman wouldn’t let him.
Some say that PM Netanyahu really wanted to destroy Hamas but Lieberman and Eizenkot wouldn’t let him.
The bottom line is that Netanyahu, Lieberman, and Eizenkot did everything in their power not to destroy Hamas.
