“Rocks”, Molotovs, and fires . . .
From a “rock” attack at Ras Kakar to a Molotov attack near Silwad to a fire attack from an incendiary balloon near Be’eri on the Gaza border, Palestinian terrorism took its usual forms yesterday.
Unlike yesterday, no Israelis were wounded, but like yesterday all of the terrorists escaped.
Numerous “riots” are planned for today by the Palestinians and their international lawbreaker friends from around the world on the Gaza border and throughout Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria.
Another military court gone berserk . . .
Speaking of riots involving international lawbreakers, a military court sentenced an officer in the Paratrooper Brigade to 22 days in the brig yesterday.
His “crime”? He broke two cameras belonging to an Italian left-wing “activist” several months ago.
The “activist” had ignored orders to stop taking photographs and was provoking our soldiers.
But never mind that the officer was acting in defense of his troops. According to the court, his actions deserved punishment.
School begins on Sunday . . .

2,310,000 kids will begin going to their kindergartens and schools on Sunday. For the first time, more boys than girls (83,189 vs 80,478) will be attending first grade.
Also, there is a dramatic increase in the number of Jewish children attending religious schools this year.

After a several months long lull in attacks on PM Netanyahu and his family, the media exploded yesterday, broadcasting information gained in leaks from the police.
One reason that there was a lull was that the media believed that the current government would soon fall apart, and we would have new elections in November. Now that it looks like the earliest elections might be in February or that elections might not take place until when they are supposed to in November of 2019, it’s open season on the Netanyahus again.

The End Of Non-Orthodox Judaism in America
In marked contrast to Israel, where more children than ever are attending religious schools and more adults than ever are celebrating all aspects of Jewish life by packing synagogues and rarely intermarrying, American non-orthodox Judaism is in its death throes.
A new Pew Research Study published yesterday shows that 42% of Americans who identify as “Jews” have completely abandoned their religion.
42%.
And what does “abandoned their religion” mean? According to the study, it means that these people who laughingly call themselves “Jews” reject “Judaism, God, ritual, prayer and religion.”
And we might add without too much exaggeration, Israel.
By the way, only 17% of American “Jews”, roughly the same percentage who identify themselves as American orthodox Jews, fully practice Judaism.
For some years now, we have been pointing out here on israelstreet how American Reform and Conservative Judaism will be dead within a generation, and how as these forms of Judaism die out within the United States so does “Jewish” support for Israel decrease.
That death and that decrease will come sooner than expected.
