The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 48 hours . . .
*The fire at Einot Tzukim which we reported on yesterday started up again last night after firefighters thought they had it under control. As of this morning it is still burning, but a perimeter around it should hold as long as the wind does not pick up. Road 90 remains subject to closure between Ein Gedi and Kalia in both directions. Meanwhile, the Palestinian arsonists made their first appearance in court yesterday.
*Palestinian terrorists wounded a bus driver as he drove his bus from Adam to Hizma last night.
Despite profuse bleeding, the bus driver was able to make it to a point of safety where he was met by a MADA team which transported him to Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital for treatment.
*Palestinian terrorists assaulted Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs at numerous locations including Beit Haggai, Tekoa, Sinjil, Levona, Psagot, along the Trans-Judea Highway, Har Gilo, Karmei Tzur, Nabi Saleh, and Havat Gilad.
Speaking of Havat Gilad, another travesty . . .
Do you remember the murder of Hava Roizen that took place near Havat Gilad last month? Here on israelstreet we showed you a video of the attack and told you how eyewitnesses reported that she was intentionally run over by a Palestinian taxi driver.
Now the police have determined that her murder was just “an accident”, and that in fact, Hava was to blame.
Why? Because she crossed the road where there was no crossing.
Never mind that she was standing on the other side of the road when she was run over, and never mind that the Palestinian driver could see her well in advance, and never mind that he veered off the road to hit her and knocked her five meters into a nearby ditch.
Never mind any of that. It was just “an accident.” As a result, the Palestinian has been charged with negligent manslaughter and hit and run but not terrorism.
“A political and legal battle with the United States” . . .
The PLO let it be known yesterday that it was opening several fronts against the United States.
–In the U.N., the PLO will demand that the U.S. pay “its portion” of the UNRWA budget.
–In “international forums”, the PLO will file complaints seeking financial damages for losses caused by the American closure of its offices in Washington.
–In the International Criminal Court, the PLO will file more cases in order to subvert the attempt of the Trump Administration to marginalize the Court.
One attempt after another–all of which are pathetically ludicrous in the extreme. As your humble servant remarked to a friend yesterday, the PLO must hate waking up in the morning and finding out what new sanction has been slapped on them by the Trump Administration.
An unfortunate truth . . .
One tidbit in Bob Woodward’s new “fake expose of a book” rings true.
In it he quotes National Security Team member Derek Harvey who says that Israel’s Iron Dome, Arrow, and David’s Sling missile interceptor systems are no match for Hezbollah’s arsenal of missiles.
We have said the same thing repeatedly here on israelstreet. There is no way that Israel can stop 150,000 GPS-guided Hezbollah missiles.
People suffering from ED usually feel afraid initiating viagra pill on line intimate acts with their partner. Such combination’s could cause blood pressure to drop suddenly to an unsafe level if it is taken with other medicines. cialis online sales Stress is also termed as the reason for continuous cute-n-tiny.com levitra samples research. When you have had a problem then we feel levitra brand cheap extremely burdened and lack of options and not to mention – lack of confidence.
Except one.
On the day that Hezbollah launches those missiles, Israel must fire everything in our arsenal against Lebanon.
And by everything, your humble servant means everything.
You know what that means.
The Eurovision battle begins . . .
With countries like Iceland and Ireland already threatening to boycott next year’s Eurovision contest which will be held in Tel Aviv, it came as a breath of fresh air yesterday to hear Denmark declare that it will not boycott the event.
Speaking for Denmark, Jan Lundme said: “Denmark will participate . . . The competition is about music and not about political conflicts, the goal of the Eurovision Song Contest is to unite Europe, and that is why we take part in it.”

Another Landmark Decision By The Trump Administration
Let’s think back for a moment over the last year and a half:
President Trump has declared that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel.
President Trump has moved the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
The Trump Administration has defunded UNRWA.
The Trump Administration is closing down PLO offices in Washington.
The Trump Administration is threatening the International Criminal Court should Israel be targeted.
The Trump Administration is waging war against all of the anti-Israel haters in the United Nations.
President Trump has withdrawn the United States from the Obama-Kerry-Democrat Party Iranian Nuclear Weapons Appeasement Agreement and is applying strict sanctions to Tehran.
The Trump Administration has taken various steps in Syria in support of Israel.
And just when you thought what else can the Trump Administration do to support Israel comes a landmark decision in the U.S. which came to light yesterday.
Specifically, the Trump Administration’s Department of Educaton is now defining anti-Zionism as “anti-Semitism.”
To put this another way, groups such as BDS, Students for Justice in Palestine, and the Muslim Students Association–all of which oppose Jewish state of Israel in the ancestral Jewish homeland of Israel– will now be classified as anti-Semitic.
As you can imagine, the Palestinians are aflame in opposition with all of the above groups claiming that virtually all of their activity on American college campuses will now be labeled anti-Semitic.
Just like it is.
As the Zionist Organization of American pointed out in a statement: “Hatred groups such as Students for Justice in Palestine often try to convince that their attacks on Zionism and Israel are legitimate political discourse, but as the State Department’s definition of anti-Semitism defines, these attacks are sometimes a cover for simple Jewish hatred.”
In a big “by the way”, in the process of doing this, the Trump Administration has expanded the definition of “Judaism.” Whereas President Obama sought to define Judaism only as a religion, the Trump Administration will define it as a religion and an “ethnicity.”
Bravo to the Trump Administration yet again!
