Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
In Judea and Samaria:
*A Palestinian terrorist jumped out of a car at the Maskit Junction between Har Bracha and Itamar in Samaria yesterday, stabbed a 30-year-old reserve IDF soldier in the chest and another soldier, and then escaped in the same car while being shot at by other IDF soldiers nearby. The soldier was evacuated to Beilinson Hospital where he is listed in “serious” condition. The terrorist was captured near in the Palestinian settlement of Jamma’in near Shechem early this morning.
*Palestinian terrorists opened fire on an Israeli motorist near Oranit. Fortunately no one was wounded, but the terrorists escaped.
*Palestinian terrorists threw “rocks” and Molotovs at Israeli men, women, and children at Duma, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron road near Karmei Tzur, El Aruv, Beit Ummar, the Abud Bypass road, Sinjil, Road 443, between Jaba and the Tunnels checkpoint, Azzun, and Shechem.
On the Gaza border:
*Palestinian terrorists set six major fires yesterday with incendiary balloons: four of them were: between Karmia and Zikim, and at Sa’ad, Ruhama, and Nir Am.
In the last hour, an incendiary balloon has been defused in Rishon LeZion.
*Palestinian terrorists fired 4 missiles into southern Israel: two hit in the Netivot area, the other two in unreported areas.
*A Palestinian terror tunnel that stretched from central Gaza into Israel in the area of the Kerem Shalom Crossing was destroyed by IDF engineering forces. This makes 15 Hamas tunnels into Israel that have been destroyed in the last year–since October 2017.
