Islamic Jihad has agreed to an Egyptian brokered ceasefire, and just like that our latest mini-war with Gaza has apparently ended.
Once again, Israel has proven to be at the complete mercy of the terrorists in Gaza and their masters in Iran, Syria, and elsewhere. They determine when each mini-war will break out, how many missiles they will shoot, how long they will traumatize our civilians, and when the mini-war will end.
Once again, Israel has demonstrated to the world that it has no deterrence whatsoever and no way to stop the missiles from hitting our civilian areas once the terrorists begin firing them (except for an occasional Iron Dome shootdown).
And once again, while Netanyahu, Lieberman, and Eizenkot fraudulently crow in the coming days about “how hard we hit Hamas and Islamic Jihad” and declare “we don’t accept the ceasefire”, more Israeli families will pack up and leave our communities along the border because they know our government’s deceptions very well by now and know that the next mini-war targeting their families will start whenever the terrorists feel like it.
Our heroic people living on the Gaza border know that our government looks at them as nothing more than missile fodder.
