Quote of the Day:
“The Palestinians are still waiting for the international community to solve the problem it created – the establishment of the State of Israel.”
Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Al-Maliki, speaking yesterday at a conference in Rome.
What Al-Maliki wants is a final solution–one that eliminates the country of Israel and ethnically cleanses every one of the more than 6 million Jews here.
By the way, Al-Maliki’s call was seconded by the Russians whose FM Lavrov absurdly proclaimed: “Stabilizing stability in the Middle East, including Libya, Syria, Iraq and other countries, also depends on the Palestinian problem.”
Really? Almost 500,000 dead in Syria because of the Israel-Palestinian problem? Iran destabilizing Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere because of the Israel-Palestinian problem?
The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
On the Gaza border:
Another Hamas photo from yesterday of Hamas women preparing food for the terrorists:
*It has been another day of terrorist attacks on the border fence with an estimated 10,000 Hamasniks throwing some 30 truckloads of grenades and IEDs at our soldiers.
Fortunately, no soldiers were wounded. Also fortunately, at least 3 terrorists were dispatched and another 20 wounded.
*Arab media reported yesterday that Bedouins belonging to Islamic State seized a shipment of Iranian missiles with GPS technology and Iranian Cornet anti-tank missiles which was on its way through the Sinai to Palestinian terrorists in Gaza.
In Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem:
*Palestinian terrorists carried out “rock” and Molotov attacks at Talmon, Na’aleh, near Auja, Aliyah, the Pharmacy Checkpoint in Hevron, El Aruv, Luban a-Sharqiya, Karmi Tzur, among other places.
*A stabbing was thwarted at the Rachel Crossing near Rachel’s Tomb outside Bethlehem when a Palestinian terrorist armed with a knife was subdued and captured.
*Palestinian terrorists attacked a Jewish man in the Old City; he was taken to a hospital with his wounds; the terrorists escaped.
Undermining Israel as much as possible . . .
Finland, Sweden, Norway, Austria, and the United Nations Development Program have just forked over another $7 million in aid to the Palestinians to build projects in eastern Jerusalem, and in Area C of Judea and Samaria.
According to the press release from the U.N., the money is supposed to “strengthen the steadfastness of the Palestinian people.”
Hogwash.
After Palestinian “officials” take their cut of the loot, there will be little left for the “Palestinian people.” In fact, Palestinian “Prime Minister” Rami Hamdallah announced that only 6000 Palestinians would be eligible for “assistance.”
We can guess that the last names of those 6000 are predominantly “Hamdallah” and “Abbas.”
The Europeans and Palestinian terrorism . . .
How long have the Europeans been helping Palestinian terrorists?
In an incredible but not surprising interview in Israel’s i24 NEWS yesterday, Pierre Martina, a former member of the French “Mossad” revealed this:
“We helped the Palestinians in the second intifada. We gave them sensitive equipment in diplomatic luggage and briefed and even trained Palestinian forces.”
Why, you may ask, were the French helping the Palestinians?
According to the officer, the French helped the Palestinians carry out terror attacks in Israel so that the Palestinians would not carry out Palestinian attacks in France.

TODAY’S BLOG:
Another Appalling Story From the Front Lines in Gaza
In the wake of Naftali Bennett’s declaration several day ago that IDF soldiers fear the IDF Military Advocate’s Office more than the enemy, numerous soldiers have come forth to support Bennett.
Here is one incredible story that was told on Israeli television yesterday by a soldier whose face was “blacked out” to avoid identification:
“It was one of the long nights of fighting. As an intelligence officer in one of the combat brigades, I spotted terrorists observing and directing firing against our soldiers from a nearby house.
I began to rush toward the fire control center to call in a strike.
Suddenly, a nice, unfamiliar young man stopped me and asked me, ‘Where are you going?’
‘To the fire control center to call in a strike,’ I answered, ‘Who are you?’
‘I am the division’s legal adviser,’ he said. ‘Every target that goes to the fire control center has to pass through me,’ said the unknown man.
‘I do not understand,’ I replied. ‘I have served in the division for 15 years and do not know of any such procedure. I have the precise location of enemies who are observing and directing fire on our forces.’
‘And you’re sure there are no innocent civilians there?’ The legal adviser asked me.
‘I have not seen any indication that there are innocents there, but it’s clear to me that there are terrorists who observe and direct fire at our forces; I’m sure you agree with me that this is not about men watching migratory birds with their binoculars in the middle of the fighting.’
‘If so,’ the adviser told me, ‘you do not have permission to attack,’ he said firmly and returned to his place.
I stood there in shock. I did not know where this thing came from. There’s a war here! There’s an enemy here! I thought I was in a dream.
Needless to say, I did not listen to the adviser and went in the back door directly to the fire control center, where to my great surprise I encountered an even more difficult situation.
‘There are men observing our forces and directing fire on us,’ I said decisively.
‘And there are no innocents there?’ asked the duty officer.
‘There is no indication that there are innocent people,’ I said.
‘I can not confirm that you can attack. In the end I will not be able to fly to Britain because of your attack,’ he said doubtfully, half jokingly.
I was in complete shock! ‘Are you serious?’ I shouted at him, ‘We are at war and you are talking about flying to Britain, our soldiers are in Gaza, you have to think of no one else!’ I said nervously and left the war room.
I waited for 00:00 at night, changing hours at the war room. I went back there.
From then until the end of the fighting there were many other cases in which the military advocate’s lawyer tried to arrest me, and I avoided him. He was always hiding in the war room.
We are the most moral army in the world with or without the legal advisers. We do not need to be told what to attack and what not to attack. We are moral people because it is inherent in our souls. But God forbid because of the bad morals of our leaders we will lose wars!”
God forbid indeed.
