Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
On the Gaza border:
In what can only be described as yet another absurd canard perpetrated by the IDF, our military assured residents of Sderot yesterday that the “excavation noises” they hear under the town are not tunnels being dug by Hamas.
How many times have we been down this road before?
How many years did residents of Sderot and elsewhere along the Gaza border have to endure being told by the IDF that the “digging noises” they heard under there homes were just imagined? Of course, they weren’t imagining anything, and the IDF has uncovered tens of tunnels since the 2014 war with Hamas.
How many years did the residents of communities along the Lebanese border report “digging noises” only to be told by the IDF that they were imagining things? Of course, they weren’t imagining anything, and the IDF eventually (and secretly) set up a unit in 2014 to monitor Hezbollah tunneling into Israel. We are now at the beginning of a process revealing the extent of the Hezbollah tunnel network.
In short, there is no reason whatsoever to believe the IDF, and every reason to believe the residents of Sderot.
In Judea and Samaria:
It was the same old song yesterday with another 30+ Palestinian terror attacks. One of the most egregious occurred at Al-Mu’ayyir where an Israeli woman was badly wounded by “rocks” that shattered the windshield and windows of her car.
Other attacks of “rocks” and Molotovs occurred at such places as Tekoa, between Havat Gilad and Yitzhar, at Ofarim, at Beit Ummar, between Efrat and the T Junction, Talmon, on the Nabi Elias Bypass Road, Halhul, the Postal Junction, and Wadi Hermiya.
It’s the Barghouti family again . . .
It turns out that the terrorist who carried out the attack at Givat Assaf is none other than Asem Barghouti, the brother of the terrorist who carried out the attack at Ofra and was killed by IDF forces.
Asem Barghouti spent nearly all of the last decade in prison for his role in attempted murders, and was released nine months ago in the revolving door that has become a feature of the Israel Prison Service.

What Would They Have Said In The 1930s?
Bernie Sanders and Dianne Feinstein: token Jews trotted out to support BDS. They should hang their heads in shame.
In yesterday’s blog, we reported on several abominable groups, specifically Amnesty International, Jewish Voice for Peace, and HaMoked. In the case of HaMoked which specializes in providing lawyers to defend Palestinian terrorists, we noted that some of its funds are being provided by yet another abominable group, the New Israel Fund.
Just how abominable the New Israel Fund is was further illustrated yesterday in this message that was disseminated on social media by the the group:
This is a statement right out of the J Street and Jewish Voice for Peace playbook. Whenever you want attack and undermine Israel, you first cast yourself as a friend of Israel who knows better than Israelis themselves what is good for Israel.
Senators Bernie Sanders and Dianne Feinstein are “brave leaders”? They are nothing more than despicable token Jews trotted out to give credibility to the BDS movement which seeks to eliminate Israel. Isn’t it amazing how every time the BDS forces want to oppose anti-BDS legislation, Jews come rushing out of the woodwork to support BDS?
Finally, isn’t it amazing how the all of these groups want are trying to foist the “democratic free speech” canard down our throats? It is a technique used by everyone from Holocaust deniers to neo-Nazis to paper over blatantly anti-Semitic words and actions. Never mind that the anti-BDS laws attempt to stop egregious discrimination against Jews, Israelis, and the state of Israel; as long as one says that his or her free speech is being violated, than these groups say that all is permitted.
And that is precisely what The New Israel Fund, Bernie Sanders, Dianne Feinstein, and the ACLU are fighting for–the right of people to egregiously discriminate against Jews, Israelis, and the state of Israel.
Your humble servant help but wonder what the position of Bernie Sanders, Dianne Feinstein, the ACLU, The New Israel Fund, J Street, and Jewish Voice For Peace would have been in the 1930s as discrimination against and persecution of Jews swept across Europe. What would they have said about the groups pursuing those policies?
I think we know the answer.
