The Picture of the Day:
The Pathetically Predictable Fact of the Day:
Four days ago, your humble servant wrote: “There is an unconfirmed report this afternoon that PM Netanyahu has decided to stop facilitating the payment of Qatari blackmail money to Hamas as long as the Friday attacks on the border fence continue.” I followed this with statement that it was difficult to believe this report because “PM Netanyahu has no spine when it comes to Hamas.”
So what happened today following a weekend of violence along the Gaza border perpetrated by an estimated 15,000 Hamas foot-soldiers?
PM Netanyahu has agreed to release the $15,000,000 monthly blackmail money to Hamas.

What a joke.
What one can more accurately say is that there is not a single empty sand dune left standing along the Gaza border nor are there any empty Hamas observation posts. Gantz did a wonderful job of destroying those.
Another Hezbollah senior official bites the dust . . .

Missiles Over Mount Hermon: A Dangerous Escalation
A ground to ground missile was launched from Syria at Mt. Hermon today at precisely the moment that the Mt. Hermon ski resort was packed with thousands of visitors.
Fortunately, it was intercepted by one of the two Iron Dome missiles sent up to intercept it.
Apparently–and there are multiple versions of what happened–this attack came after an Israeli attack on Iranian installations in southern Syria (Syrian version) or an Israeli attack by 4 jets on an airport in Damascus (Russian version).
Whatever happened in Syria, the targeting of an Israeli tourist site with a ground to ground missiles is a serious escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel.
