Outrageous Picture of the Day
A Molotov attack carried out by Palestinian terrorists on an Israeli motorist beside Karmei Tzur in Judea yesterday. Miraculously, the woman driving the car was able to make it out alive (photo: hakolhayehudi).
Everyday on israelstreet we chronicle the never ending Palestinian “rock” and Molotov attacks that face Israeli men, women, and children in Judea and Samaria. In the case of “rock” attacks, the purpose is to shatter windshields and cause cars to crash. In the case of Molotovs, the purpose is to burn Israelis alive in their cars.
Yesterday, a female resident of Karmei Tzur was driving close to the nearby Palestinian settlement of Beit Ummar when terrorists threw five Molotovs at her car. You can see from the above photo what happened: she crashed off the road as the car burst into flames.
Somehow she managed to get out of the car and run to safety–escaping the 8 Arabs who were chasing her.
Have you seen any reportage of this attack anywhere? Of course not. No one cares when Israelis are attacked and even murdered.

Palestinian terror in Judea and Samaria:
Aside from the above Molotov attack near Karmei Tzur . . .
Palestinian terrorists using “rocks” and Molotovs attacked an Israeli bus passing through Al-Aruv and two other buses carrying students at Tekoa.
Palestinian terrorists hurling “rocks” and Molotovs attacked Israelis all along the Gush Etzion-Hevron road, at Al-Khader, near Beit Ummar, at the Lapid Junction, beside Kiryat Arba, at the Tapuach Junction, and at a myriad of other places.
Palestinian terror along the Gaza Border:
More than a dozen Palestinian terrorists have breached the border fence overnight and today. Two terrorists armed with knives and grenades were captured close to Nahal Oz. Some of the other terrorists fled back into Gaza, but others remain on the loose and are the subject of an IDF manhunt.
Palestinian terrorists launched more than 50 explosive balloons into southern Israel which landed in communities up and down the Gaza border at such places as Netivot, Sha’ar Hanegev, and throughout the Eshkol Region.
A cluster of balloons with an explosive mannikin attached that landed in Eshkol today. Fortunately no fire started when the attached explosive element detonated because the grass is wet from the recent rains.
The Women of the Wall rear their heads again . . .
Today was a double-day for the reform Jewish group Women of the Wall (WOW). First it was Rosh Chodesh, the beginning of a new month, and second, today marked the 30th anniversary of the group’s founding.
As usual, the group sent out numerous emails to its supporters encouraging them to come to the Kotel to try to provoke a confrontation at the Wall by wearing prayer shawls and kipas while singing, dancing, and reading Torah in the Women’s Section.
Unfortunately for WOW, only a few of their members showed up and their message was intercepted by ultra-orthodox groups.
The result was that the women and their male supporters were surrounded by thousands of ultra-orthodox men and women who refused to let them get inside the Women’s Section. Eventually, the police intervened and escorted the WOW members to the egalitarian prayer section at the south end of the wall where they should have been in the first place.
Election news . . .
There’s a poll a minute these days in Israel and even though the numbers are all over the place, the general trend is that the Blue and White Party of Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid is slowly sinking in the polls whereas the Likud party of PM Netanyahu is slightly increasing.
More interesting is the fact that the smaller parties seem to be growing stronger with one notable exception–the Yisrael Beiteinu party of Avigdor Lieberman. Yisrael Beiteinu does not pass the threshold in any of the polls–and is only polling 1% in most.
The fate of Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) and Balad are now at the Israel Supreme Court which will quickly move–as we predicted several days ago–to overturn the decisions of the Elections Commission which allowed Otzma (particularly its leader Michael Ben Ari) and barred Balad.

The U.S. House Resolution And Its Aftermath
“I thought yesterday’s vote by the House was disgraceful because the Democrats have become an anti-Israel party [and] they have become an anti-Jewish party . . .”

Of course what President Trump was referring to was the U.S. House resolution which condemned a wide variety of hate statements including ones that are racist, anti-Semitic, and Islamophobic.
However, as we all know, it was not supposed to be like that.
Originally, the resolution was supposed to be a condemnation of Muslim Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s use of anti-Semitic tropes involving Jewish money and dual loyalty in her condemnation of Israel and AIPAC.
Instead, Omar and her supporters managed to turn the resolution into something much different. Not only did it not mention Ilhan Omar, it also included Muslim victimhood into its content.
In fact, it was breathtakingly nauseating to see how anti-Semitic words uttered by a Muslim ended up being a cause for recognizing supposed “Islamophobia.”
It was equally nauseating to watch House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defend Omar after the vote by saying that Omar really didn’t realize what she was saying–and that, in Pelosi’s opinion, Omar is not anti-Semitic.
What has also been nauseating to see how Omar’s comments have brought Israel-bashers out of the woodwork in droves. Every major television channel in the United States has had at least one (often many more) commentators defending Omar by saying that she was not really talking about Jews, but instead was criticizing Israel. Each of these so-called commentators has concluded that Omar was in fact correct because Israel deserves condemnation because of its treatment of the “poor Palestinians.”
In a case of double nauseation, one commentator on Fox news even declared this morning that Omar’s comments should not be condemned because she is merely saying what American Jews believe. Not only was the commentator nauseating in excusing anti-Semitism on that basis, but also American Jews as a whole probably do nauseatingly believe that what Omar said is true.
It is enough to make your humble servant want to throw up.
Returning to President Trump’s comment today, he was absolutely correct that the vote was “disgraceful”. That being said, your humble servant certainly does not believe that all Democrats are anti-Jewish and anti-Israel. However, there is absolutely no doubt that the party leadership is rapidly being taken over by those who are.
The real danger of Omar’s words is that they have normalized being anti-Israel.
