There are already 24 families ready to live in Ramat Trump, including a number of young couples aged 21-42. According to Haim Rokach, head of the Golan Regional Council, “hundreds of requests” have poured in from American and Canadian Jews wanting to live in the new community.
Thank you again to President Trump for recognizing the reality of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights!
The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
In Judea and Samaria:
There have been numerous “rock” and Molotov attacks on Israeli men, women, and children. Some of the worst assaults were at Beit Sira on Road 443, between Hizma and Anatot, and at the small Yitzhar Junction.
On the Gaza border:
Another day, more fires.
Also hard hit again was the Sha’ar Hanagev area:
Other fires were narrowly avoided as explosive balloons exploded in the air above the Eshkol Region.

The News Today: Nauseating, Refreshing, Amazing, and Unsurprising
Some nauseating news of the day . . .
*More extortion money: the Qatari envoy is expected to turn over $25 million dollars in cash to Hamas tomorrow. Supposedly, this money is to “maintain the quiet” on the border. What quiet?
*If you can believe this, the head of Israel’s Shin Bet security service met with PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas yesterday to “beg” him to accept 600,000,000 million shekels a month in tax money being held by Israel. If you recall, Abbas refuses to take the money because Israel is deducting money based on how much the PLO is paying terrorists sitting in Israeli jails as well as money paid to families of terrorists who were killed during or after they murdered Israelis.
So why are we begging Abbas to take the money? Because we are afraid that Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria will descend into chaos.

*A 16-year-old Palestinian Bedouin girl was beaten and strangled to death yesterday during an exorcism “ceremony” at Al-Jib, a Bedouin community located in the seam zone near Ramallah.

Some amazing news of the day . . .
*It has come to light that a young member of Neturei Karta has become an Israeli Border Guard.
Just to recall, Neturei Karta is one of the most vehemently anti-Zionist ultra-orthodox groups on the planet. They delight in burning Israeli flags and attending Holocaust denial conferences in Tehran. Indeed, Zalman Shwartz notes that he immensely enjoyed engaging in such activities as a teenager.
But then realizing that his life was empty, he decided to take a different path–and what a different path it is:
*A green lizard not seen in Israel for the last decade and thought to be extinct was found swimming in the pool at Sha’ar Ha’Amakim yesterday:

Some unsurprising news of the day . . .
*This past week, the son of the Palestinian head of the Deir Qadis settlement just outside of Ramallah was married.
The father, Radi Nasser, and his son operate a garage in Deir Qadis that is heavily patronized by ultra-orthodox Jews from Modi’in Illit, an Israeli city located nearby. Some of those Jews were invited to the wedding, and photos of their participation circulated on Palestinian media:
As you can imagine, the Palestinian reaction was one of “horror” that Jews could be invited to a Palestinian’s wedding. Even more horrified was the Fatah movement of the PLO to which Nasser belongs.
The result?
Nasser was thrown out of Fatah and those unnamed people who invited the Jews to the wedding were punished by some means not announced.
*In an interview on Israeli television last night, Avigdor Lieberman declared that the next government will be a coalition of Yisrael Beiteinu, Likud, and Blue and White. In the same interview, he indicated that he would not sit in a government with the ultra-orthodox.
Likud spokesmen were quick to pounce on these statements as evidence that Lieberman is, in fact, a closet leftist obsessed with bringing down the PM Netanyahu. Of course, the Likudniks are correct.
