Rest In Peace

Rotem Langer

(1980-2019)

On April 5, 2002, IDF Paratrooper Rotem Langer was shot twice in the head by a Palestinian sniper in Shechem (Nablus). For two and a half months he was unconscious. During the next four years he underwent 6 brain surgeries after which he was finally, but barely, able to talk.

Years later he recovered enough to help other disabled IDF soldiers and even was able to participate in snowboarding.

This morning, after 17 years of heroic struggle, Rotem Langer died.

May his memory always be blessed.

A giant inflatable chicken on the sidewalk in from the Kirya (IDF headquarters) in Tel Aviv this morning.

The chicken was placed there by the “Victory of Israel Project” which wants a commitment from the next government to defeat Hamas. The writing on the chicken reads: “Stop being afraid. We demand an Israeli victory.”

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

In Judea and Samaria:

*Palestinian terrorists threw Molotovs at the entrance to the IDF base beside Ofra.

*Palestinian terrorists threw Molotovs and “rocks” at buses near Kiryat Arba (Beit Anun) and at the Mishor Adumim Junction.

*Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” at numerous places along the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road such as at the Karmi Tzur Junction, and at the Ma’aleh Levanon Junction.

It professional cialis is a complete and realistic treatment for dealing with male impotence. Those expectations are justified; however, laser has a bit more evidence cialis 10mg to prove its efficacy. Certain cases are less severe where the patients show cialis 10mg look at here now no symptoms and never really require any surgical procedure. John began working at four discount levitra no rx years old.

On the Gaza Border:

“If Israel does not approve the introduction of Qatari money into Gaza and does not increase the electricity supply by the end of the week, escalation in the south will erupt.”

A Hamas spokesman, speaking this morning

“There is nothing in the Hamas Covenant which prohibits independent attacks by individuals against Israel. Hamas is a resistance movement and not a peace movement.”

Mahmoud Al-Zahar, senior Hamas spokesman

*According to the latest IDF estimates released yesterday, Hamas now has around 20,000 precision missiles ready to be fired at Israel. Those missiles are for the most part being mass produced at underground missile factories in Gaza, as are drones which can deliver missiles and bombs.

And we continue to send these terrorists money and materials.

From the Jordan Valley . . .

The “bankrupt” PLO has revealed this morning that it is now paying grants to Palestinians who will move from Areas A and B to the Jordan Valley–an area presumably under total Israeli control.

Of course as soon as they move, the rest of the world will call them “the indigenous people” of the Jordan Valley.

TODAY’S BLOG

No “Palestinian Refugees” in Palestine and No LGBTQ

Quotations of the Day from Hamas and the PLO

From Hamas:

“Our road is to Palestine. We oppose the settlement of the refugees in Lebanon.”

Mahar Salah, head of “Hamas Abroad,” speaking to a Lebanese newspaper yesterday.

Apparently, one part of the Trump Peace Plan calls for Lebanon to grant citizenship to the so-called “Palestinian refugees” in Lebanon–especially the ones who have been there for the last 70+ years.

It should be noted that the PLO refuses to accept any “Palestinian refugees” in “Palestine”; the terrorist organization has repeatedly said that all “refugees” must be settled in Israel.

When Salah says that “our road is to Palestine,” he means that “our road is to Israel.”

From the PLO:

“LGBTQ activities are harmful to the higher values and ideals of Palestinian society. [They] create discord and harm civic peace in Palestinian society.

Luay Zreikat, spokesperson for the PLO police, in an interview two days ago.

Zreikat was specifically speaking about the PLO ban of all LGBTQ activities in Areas A and B of Judea and Samaria  imposed three days ago, and the specific targeting of the LGBTQ group Al-Qaws for Sexual and Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society.

Zreikat continued to say that anyone supporting Al-Qaws would be “chased down and brought to trial.” Zreikat urged anyone having any information about LGBTQ activities to contact the PLO police immediately.

Your humble servant finds this latest ban fascinating. How many times have I been out on the street in the U.S. advocating for Israel only to be attacked by members of the American LGBTQ community who are denouncing Israel and supporting “Palestine”?

When confronted with the reality of the Palestinian attitude toward the LGBTQ community as represented by Hamas throwing gays off of rooftops in Gaza, these American LGBTQ members can only answer that it is “fake news.”

There is nothing fake about being thrown off a rooftop or being tortured in a PLO prison because of your sexual orientation or gender identification.

Where is the worldwide LGBTQ outrage over the PLO ban?

Nowhere to be seen.
