Remember
On October 6, 1973, Yom Kippur, Israel was attacked by Arab armies led by Egypt and Syria. 2,569 Israeli soldiers were killed defending this country. We must never forget.

The News on the Israeli Street
A surprise from above . . .
What did Ashkelon, Holon, Hasharon, Gush Dan, and Jerusalem all have in common yesterday?
Rain.
Yes, from out of the blue (there was no rain predicted), the first rains of the season came to Israel. It is still raining this Sunday morning in Eilat.
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
On the Gaza border:
*Aside from an estimated 6000 Hamasniks attacking our soldiers with IEDs, grenades, Molotovs, and “rocks”, it was just another weekend along the Gaza border fence.
*While the Hamasniks were out at the fence, Islamic Jihad was holding its annual celebration in Gaza with speakers pledging that the organization will never make peace with “the Zionists” and never stop fighting for “Palestine’s eternal capital of Jerusalem.”
*Meanwhile, Hamas has issued a statement this morning calling the PLO “racists” for trying to thwart construction in Gaza. It called on the PLO to stop its “racial measures” against the Palestinians. It is hilarious to see how the PLO and Hamas are now calling each other names they once reserved for Israelis.
In Judea and Samaria:
Back in Ramallah, the PLO has decided to take what tax money it can from Israel after all. While still proclaiming that there is no more sacred cause than paying the salaries of terrorist murderers and their families, the PLO will go along with the offset of that “salary money” from the tax monies which now have reached over a billion shekels.
The “Unit for Clarification of Complaints by Those Interrogated by Shabak” . . .
As we have been reporting, the terrorist murderer of Israeli teenager Rina Shnerb unfortunately survived whatever happened to him while he was being interrogated in order to find out where other bombs were planted.
You may recall that his wife and accomplice, Nora Arabid, claimed that her “poor husband Samar” was merely “on his way to work” when he was captured by Israeli security forces.
Now the interrogators who saved countless lives are under investigation by the Israel Justice Ministry’s absurd “Unit for Clarification of Complaints by Those Interrogated by Shabak.”
And guess who the first witness is going to be?
None other that Nora Arabid.
Be it erectile dysfunction, low libido, premature ejaculation or any other condition, they can be reversed easily with the regular sildenafil in canada intake of Ayurveda medicines and that too without any help of synthetic drugs. Due to modern lifestyle, generic cialis 20mg http://miamistonecrabs.com/brine-lacrosse-stick/ CFS has become quite popular in curing sexual problems by giving better and stronger erections in the wake of taking sildenafil citrate, contrasted and only 20% of men who took a placebo. And the second will probably be Samar Arabid who is now out of his coma.
Murderers captured, lives saved, and our own Justice Ministry will haul all of the investigators into a courtroom so that the murderers can become the victims.
Unbelievable.

The Unseemly Spectacle of Netanyahu Clinging To Power
The last three days have seem an unseemly spectacle playing itself out here–and a spectacle that says a lot about Benjamin Netanyahu.
Here we are at a moment when Netanyahu still has the mandate to form a government from President Rivlin. One would think that his entire focus would be on forming a “right” government. But no, that idea seems to have flown out of the window.
Failing that, one would have thought that Netanyahu’s focus would have been on forming a unity government with Benny Gantz which somehow keeps Israel’s ship of state sailing to the “right.” That idea now seems to have sailed.
Or one might have thought that Netanyahu would have been focused on what is happening in his pre-indictment hearings. His lawyers argued against charges in Case 4000 last week, are arguing Case 1000 today, and will argue Case 2000 tomorrow. But no, all of that doesn’t seem to be what Netanyahu’s mind is occupied with.
Or one might have thought that Netanyahu would have been laser-focused on Iran as he has been for years now. But there has been barely a peep from Netanyahu about Iran in the last few days.
So what has consumed all of Netanyahu’s time and energy, you ask?
Maintaining power as the head of the Likud Party.
And squashing all of his rivals.
Last week, Netanyahu and his cohorts floated the idea that they might even hold a “snap” Likud primary election, but that idea was quickly dumped in the wastebasket when Gideon Sa’ar announced he was ready to challenge Netanyahu. Netanyahu is intent on stopping Sa’ar.
At a Knesset event on Friday, Netanyahu went out of his way to shake every hand in the room–except that of Ayelet Shaked. Why not Shaked’s? Because Netanyahu and his wife Sara obviously look at Shaked as a rival.
The simple fact is that Israel needs a government, and your humble servant thinks that Netanyahu could be doing more to form one. Another simple fact is that Netanyahu may end up destroying the Likud Party by refusing to let new blood rise to the top. Over the years, he has stomped on one rival after another.
Netanyahu is clearly putting himself above all other considerations.
It is unseemly in the extreme–and dangerous.
Annual OneIsrael Campaign Update:
Back at the beginning of September, we announced the beginning of our annual fund-raising campaign for OneIsrael. Our goal is $5000 which we intend to use to upgrade our website, to apply for non-profit status in the U.S., and to create an educational component on our site.
Thus far, we are 80% toward that goal having received some $4000 in donations. We thank you who have already donated, and ask again that those of you who have not to please click on one of the donate buttons on this page.
