Bernie Sanders has always done everything within his power to support the Iranians. From actively supporting the nuclear appeasement deal with Tehran to actively opposing the sanctions that President Trump has placed on Iran in an attempt to stop Iranian aggression, Sanders has continually revealed himself to be bosom buddy of the mullahs in Tehran.
Never mind that the Iranians daily voice their desire to obliterate Israel (even during the Corona outbreak) and never mind that the Iranians continue to arm and direct proxy fighters in Iraq and Syria that kill American soldiers, Bernie Sanders remains a steadfast friend of Iran.

As you can see from the breaking news ticker above, the number of confirmed Corona cases has increased to 573 since yesterday. This is mainly due to increased testing as Israel has received more testing kits.
Two patients remain in critical condition.

An Emergency Unity Government Begins To Take Shape
After flinging continual insults at PM Netanyahu since the election, the Benny Gantz-led Kahol Lavan Party is seemingly on the verge of agreeing to a unity government with the Netanyahu-led Likud party.
According to reports, Gantz and his cohort Gabi Ashkenazi have agreed that PM Netanyahu will continue in office for at least one or two years–to be followed as Prime Minister by Gantz.
If this reportage is accurate, it means that we may soon see the end of the Kahol Lavan Party as it is currently constituted. This is because Yair Lapid and Moshe Ya’alon, the other two leaders of Kahol Lavan, reiterated today that they will not sit in a government led by Netanyahu for even one day.
In return for Netanyahu continuing in office, Likud is willing to go along with Kahol Lavan taking over the Defense Ministry and even, perhaps, the Justice, Culture, and Foreign Ministries. In terms of Defense, Naftali Bennett would be replaced by Gabi Ashkenazi.
What remains unknown at this point is how the ultra-orthodox parties, the Joint Arab List, and Liberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu Party would fit into such a coalition.
We should know more fairly quickly.
Meanwhile, in the midst of the unity talks, Kahol Lavan has petitioned the High Court of Justice to, in effect, overrule Knesset speaker Yuli Edelstein on the question of committee formation. We can expect a ruling from the Court very soon.
