*As you can see from the above ticker, as of 10 pm tonight (Sunday), there are now 4247 confirmed cases of Corona in Israel–an increase of about 700 from 8 pm Saturday night. Unfortunately more than 60 people are now on respirators, and 15 people have died.
*Palestinian prime minister Mohammed Ashiya gave a speech today blaming our IDF soldiers for deliberately spreading the Corona virus in PLO areas: “It is racism and hatred of people who long for our deaths. We will include this on the list of Israeli war crimes we have submitted to the International Criminal Court. “

Theresa Halsa is finally dead.
As you may not know, Halsa was the last surviving member of the four terrorists from Black September who hijacked Sabena Airline 571 twenty minutes after it took off from Vienna on its way to Tel Aviv on May 8, 1972. 90 passengers were on board.
All passengers were rescued in an operation led by Israel’s elite commandos. One of those commandos, Benjamin Netanyahu, was wounded by friendly fire when a bullet passed through Halsa and hit him in the bicep.

Will The Cure Be As Bad As The Virus?
Your humble servant is not talking about Corona.
Just a few days ago we were on the verge of a virulent anti-Zionist disaster with the Joint List and their cronies in Kahol Lavan poised to take over the Knesset, and in effect determine the direction of the country.
Then the unthinkable happened and Benny Gantz aligned with PM Netanyhu, and the Kahol Lavan-Joint Arab List (with Balad) fell apart.
We all heaved a gigantic sigh of relief.
Now, we are gradually becoming not so relieved as the outline of the new government becomes apparent. It appears that the price that Netanyahu paid for getting Gantz to switch was steep.
It is being reported that all 15 Knesset members of Gantz’s Resilience Party are going to receive a Ministership. Ministries such as Defense, Justice, Agriculture, Welfare will be led by leftists. Even the ministry heads from Likud and those on the right will be subject to Gantz’s approval.
All of which takes us back to Ayelet Shaked’s comment above. What is now at risk are all of the gains made in the Defense and Justice Ministries in the last few years. Apparently, we will no longer have leaders such as Shaked and Naftali Bennett in place to force Netanyahu to toe a conservative line in places such as Judea and Samaria, and in places such as the Israeli judiciary.
Nothing is final yet, but some of us are holding are collective breaths in advance of an announcement in the next few days about who will take control of Israeli ministries.
