The News on the Israeli Street

The daily Corona update . . .

4 pm Saturday: There are now  15,148  confirmed cases of Corona in Israel. 102 people are on ventilators. 198 Israelis have died. 6,159 have recovered.

There are widespread openings tomorrow: beauty salons, stores on the street, and restaurants (without seating). Malls remain closed for the time being but are expected to open after Yom Atzmaut (Independence Day).

Furthermore, the NIDDK wholesale prices viagra has stated that the clogged arteries can lead to ED in men.
However, major chains such as Castro, Fox, Roladin, and about 200 other fashion and retail chains will not open their doors tomorrow because they are striking for government compensation of their losses during the last two months.

Masks must continue to be worn by everyone over the age of 7.

On the political front . . .

There is no news and probably will be none until after Yom Atzmaut (which begins at sundown on Tuesday).

All of the conjectures about what person will occupy what job is just that–conjecture.

For example, it seemed just 48 hours ago that Yariv Levin would definitely become the next Speaker of the Knesset. Now, it appears that he may be in line for being Ambassador to the U.S. for 18 months, and Foreign Minister for the next 18.

It is not exactly clear how long Netanyahu and Gantz have to implement the unity government, but it appears that they have until May 5. That date is 21 days from April 16–the date on which President Rivlin gave the Knesset a mandate for forming a government.

Meanwhile, those left out of the unity government, namely Yair Lapid and Moshe Ya’alon continue to rail against PM Netanyahu and Benny Gantz. Today, on Israeli TV, Ya’alon ranted: “Netanyahu acts like a gang leader and a terrorist activist.” Asinine comments like this are par for the course as far as Ya’alon and Lapid are concerned.
