Turkish PM Taycip Erdogan
Is anyone surprised? Again we ask the question of why Israel is permitting any Turkish organizations to operate in Israel.

The News on the Israeli Street
The daily Corona update . . .
As of 8 am this morning (Sunday):
There are 37,464 confirmed cases—an increase of 1,198 since this time yesterday
18,814 of these have recovered—an increase of 201
134 are in serious condition—an increase of 4
49 are on ventilators—an increase of 7
354 have died–an increase of 3
There are 18,650 active cases.
The number of confirmed cases, those in serious condition, those on ventilators, and those who have died continue to steadily climb.
20% of the midwives at Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center–an ultra orthodox hospital located in Bnei Brak–have tested positive for Corona. Authorities are now contacting more than 200 mothers who were involved with them in recent weeks.
Beginning this morning, the Union of Bus Drivers says that bus drivers will no longer collect money from senior citizens riding on buses for fear of getting infected.
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
*Three Palestinian terrorists from Gaza were captured yesterday as they attempted to infiltrate across the border.
*The fire started by Palestinian terrorists near Mehola in the Jordan Valley (which we reported on yesterday) continues to burn this morning. Firefighters believe they have control of the fire, but more than 40,000 dunams (nearly 10,000 acres) have burned.
*The PLO reports that 15 Palestinians were wounded in Areas A and B as a result of celebratory machine gun fire for matriculation exams yesterday.
Hamas in a panic . . .
The second senior Hamas commander in the last two weeks has been accused of spying for Israel. This time, the Hamas naval commando commander managed to escape Gaza on an Israeli boat–with his laptop.
The first commander accused was in charge of the Sujaiya neighborhood, and it charge of training Palestinian terrorists.
To add insult to injury, Hamas’ Izz-al-Din al-Qassam military wing had its website hacked last night.
Iran hit again, and again . . .
A gas pipeline running through Tehran blew up last night. Is this the sixth or seventh target attacked in the last few weeks? We’re losing count.
Meanwhile, more that 35 Iranian proxy fighters were killed in Syria yesterday when their position was bombed in the Deir a-Zour province by an unidentified aircraft.
The World Zionist Organization sells out Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights for a tax deduction . . .
In an amazing reversal of policy, it is being reported that the World Zionist Organization has informed its donors that none of the money collected will be spent beyond the June 4, 1967 (aka 1948) armistice lines.
What does this mean?
Aside from adopting the PLO narrative hook, line, and sinker, it means that not one penny will be directed to the Golan, Judea, Samaria, or eastern/northern Jerusalem.
Why the change?
According to WZO, donors to the organization from such countries as Germany, Australia, and Brazil could not receive a tax deduction if the money went to those areas.
There’s no other way to put this other than WZO has cravenly given up its own principles for money.
TODAY’S BLOG:
Gantz’s Ploy To Thwart Sovereignty
At this morning’s cabinet meeting, the coalition government was supposed to vote on a change in its governmental bylaws to encompass the agreements reached between PM Netanyahu and so-called “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz.
The original agenda item for today called for the entire agreement reached between the two to be voted on; however at the last minute, the item was removed from the agenda.
Why?
Because the Article 29 clause which allows PM Netanyahu to proceed with sovereignty without Benny Gantz’s permission cannot be agreed upon. Not surprisingly, Benny Gantz is trying to backtrack and demand that no declaration of sovereignty can be made unless Israel first negotiates with Arab countries in the region.
In other words, Gantz is demanding that no statement of sovereignty ever be issued because the idea that countries such as Jordan will suddenly jump on board the sovereignty bandwagon is beyond the absurd.
Such is the state of coalition affairs as of this time.
