How is it possible that our esteemed members of the defense ministry still don’t get it?
After years of studies showing how the smoke from the fires has caused severe respiratory problems in the men, women, and children of the South, and years of studies showing how the explosions heard all around cause severe PTSD in the same people–especially children, how can anyone claim there are “no casualties.”
And to call this a “phenomenon” and not “terrorism” is outrageously disgusting and reeks of Orwellian surreal speak.

Terror in Judea, Samaria, and on the Gaza Border
On the Gaza border:
This huge fire near Sderot burned hundreds of acres.
Fires, fires, and more fires. Though “only” about half as many yesterday (28) than the day before (60+). Perhaps this was a result of the OptiDefense Laser System that went into action yesterday or perhaps not; no details were given out today as to its efficacy.
Meanwhile, terrorists continue to try to import helium balloons through the port of Ashdod to be used on the Gaza border. Tens of thousands were intercepted by workers this week:

So what was Israel’s response to all of the explosive balloon terror today? If you have been following this terror saga over years, you already know:

The terrorists try to set fires that burn upwards toward the Jewish communities on the tops of the hills.
Palestinian terrorists threw IEDs at Israelis on the Gush Etzion-Jerusalem Road near Al-Khader. IDF sappers were called in to defuse the bombs.
Palestinian terrorists throw “rocks” and Molotovs at Israeli motorists at Al-Aruv, on Road 5 near the Oranit Checkpoint, at the Tapuach Junction, on Road 465 near Bir Zeit, between Itamar and Beit Furik, at Deir Kadis, Beit Omer, between Kfar Jat and Havat Gilad, and the Karmi Tzur Junction among other places.
