Palestinian terrorists using “rocks” and Molotovs attacked Israelis in the vicinity of Luban a-Sharqiya, Migdal Oz, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron road, and at Marda among some dozen other locations.
Palestinian terrorists throwing Molotovs from a moving car attacked a bus near Al-Aruv.
Palestinian terrorists throwing “rocks” damaged an Israeli bus on line 380 near Beit Omer.
The daily Corona update . . .
5,946 more Israelis were confirmed yesterday as having Corona bringing to 42,203 active cases in the country.
921,083 Israelis have tested positive since the pandemic began last year.
421 Israelis are in serious condition with another 65 in critical condition on ventilators.
6,593 Israelis have died of the virus–an increase of 8 since yesterday.
A leading Corona expert, Dr. Eli Waxman of the Weizmann Institute of Science issued this dire prediction this morning: “In the last week of August, we will have more than 1,200 serious patients in the hospitals. Even if the measures are very effective, they will not affect the accumulation of seriously ill patients; we will pass 2,000 difficult patients by mid-September. The steps taken by the government are in the right direction but partial and unsatisfactory. There are large gaps that need to be plugged; total closure does not reflect what needs to be done.”

Facebook continues its anti-Israel slide into immoral slime . . .
Yesterday, Facebook announced that it was permanently blocking the Facebook accounts of Baruch Marzel and Michael Ben-Ari of the Jewish Power Party. The excuse Facebook used was that they are terrorists because of their connections to such organizations such as Kahana Chai.
Leaving aside the idiocy of this decision, a quick look of Facebook this morning finds that the Facebook page of Muhammad Naifa is still up and running. Naifa, the commander of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade in Tulkarm, currently sits in an Israeli prison having been convicted of ordering and carrying out murders at Kibbutz Metzar in which Revital Ohayon and her children Matan and Noam were slaughtered on November 10, 2002 as she hugged them in a futile attempt to protect them. Bennett And Gantz Show Subservience To Their Liege Lord
Last night, Israeli television reported the news that our so-called “Defense Minister” Benny Gantz, in a break from a decades long Israeli policy, has now approved 1000 new homes for Palestinians in Area C of Judea and Samaria.
That construction is to take place in at least four Palestinian settlements–all located in highly sensitive areas: Bir al-Basha near Jenin, al-Mascupa near Nokdim, Khirbet Abba near Jenin, and Khirbet Zakaria near Gush Etzion.
Of course, we predicted this would happen when Gantz took over as Defense Minister under Netanyahu. He has often crowed about how he personally stopped the movement that would have created Israeli sovereignty over Area C.
But now, he is actively taking steps to increase the Palestinian population there in a move which underscores his bonds with the European Union, United Nations, and the Biden Administration.
The announcement last night about the 1000 new homes was counterbalanced on television by the announcement that 2000 new homes would be approved for Jewish communities in Area C.
However, in fewer than 12 hours, PM Bennett has decided to nix any new construction for Jews in Area C, tossing out the decision that was announced last night.
Yes, Naftali Bennett, the self-described champion of the Jewish communities of Area C, has once again thrown those communities under the bus.
You might be asking yourself what precipitated the approval of the 1000 new homes for Palestinians and the disapproval of the 2000 new homes for Jews?
The answer is simple. PM Naftali Bennett is heading to Washington either at the end of this month or early next month for his first meeting with President Biden. Now that he and FM Lapid have already signaled that Israel has become a vassal state of the U.S., Bennett doesn’t want to do anything to rock the boat in advance of his meeting with his liege lord.
