The Unfortunate Photo of the Day
Israelis have seemingly grown tired and angry of the endless mixed messages and regulations emanating from Dr. Preis concerning Covid-19 and the necessity of vaccinating.
Unfortunately, the level of threats against Dr. Preis has reached a level that she is now continually accompanied by security and carries a “panic/distress” button that she can press if she feels under threat. Mobile patrols circle her home 24 hours a day.
The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli buses in Gush Etzion, near Anatot (driver wounded), and at Givat Assaf.
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli motorists at Luban A-Sharqiya, in Shaarei Tikva (Samaria), on Road 5 near the Peduel Junction, at Ma’ale Amos, at the Barkan Junction, near the Huwara Bypass, at Al Aruv, and on Road 465.
Palestinian terrorists nearly killed a Jewish family in eastern Jerusalem when they attacked the family’s car smashing out all the windows. The family was rescued and evacuated to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Palestinian terrorists in Gaza opened fire with machine guns at Israeli aircraft in the vicinity of the Shifa Hospital tonight.
TODAY’S BLOG
“What Is Happening In Our Country? Where Is The Governance?”
Some days it feels like Israel is coming apart at the seams.
Nowhere is this feeling greater than in the area around Beersheva where Bedouin clans, families, and gangs have seemingly taken over.
The Bedouins have set up countless illegal settlements all over the northern and central Negev and the government does nothing to stop it.
Bedouin gangs constantly raid IDF bases stealing weapons and literally hundreds o thousands of bullets, and believe it or not an IDF officer actually suggested last week paying extortion money to the Bedouins to stop the thefts.
So many women have been accosted by roving Bedouins in Beersheva that neighborhoods have formed protection groups to do the job that the police are supposed to do.
No one feels safe to go out at night.
All of which leads to the appalling scene outside of Soroka Hospital yesterday where two rival clans engaged in a brawl and firefight outside the doors of the emergency room–causing the hospital to completely close down.
As of this time, 19 Bedouins from Rahat have been arrested.
To address the situation, Beersheva Mayor Ruvik Danilovich called a press conference and had this to say:
“We are in a crisis. It’s a time of national emergency. We need to call it by its name . . . this is a real war – on the democracy which belongs to all of us. There is civilian terror here, which is slowly, slowly, taking over the country. It’s happening everywhere. I expected the Prime Minister and Public Security Minister to be here this morning. What happened yesterday was a loss of control by the State of Israel. What is happening in our country? Where is the governance?”
Indeed where is the governance?
Hardly a day goes by that major Israeli cities do not have Mafia assassinations; Israeli-Arab communities are immersed in murders and violence; and the Bedouin takeover of the Negev has created a state within a state.
