All’s Well That Ends Well (The Funny Story of the Morning)
A 74-year-old woman in Jerusalem decided to really protect herself from Corona by bleaching and then microwaving 10,000 shekels in 100 shekel currency notes.
All she succeeded in doing was completely frying her money.
Fortunately, the Bank of Israel analyzed the ashes, verified her story, and provided the grateful woman with replacement money.
As for the woman, she commented: “I learned the lesson, I will not heat bills in the microwave anymore.”
Laughing out loud.
The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis with “rocks” and Molotovs on Road 443 near the Beit Horon Bridge, at Al-Aruv, near A-Tira, Singil, Beit Omer, the Karmi Tzur Junction, Shavei Shomron, Burka, Givat Assaf, Hizma, Umm Safa, among other places.
The Jerusalem Police have released video of the stabbing attack yesterday evening at the Ateret Cohanim Yeshiva. Click here to see the stabbing attack–and the shooting of the terrorist.
Turkey releases the Israeli couple . . .
Not surprisingly (because there was absolutely no reason to hold them), Turkish authorities released the vacationing couple (Mordi and Natalie Oknin) who happened to take photos of PM Erdogan’s palace while taking a cruise in Istanbul.
As they arrived back in Israel on a private jet, PM Bennett and President Herzog thanked their Turkish counterparts profusely.
Though senior government officials say that they did not give anything to the Turks to gain the release, we all know that is not true–and we can only wait to see what concession Israel made.
The U.S. continues dragging its feet . . .
. . . about granting Israelis the ability to enter the U.S. with no visa.
According to Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked, nothing will be forthcoming before 2023.
What are the artificial obstacles that the U.S. has thrown up?
Approx. more than 35 million people have taken more than 1.8 billion pills and number of consumption continues to increase. on line viagra Consuming best herbal male enhancement herb helps in increasing http://amerikabulteni.com/2017/10/25/havada-erkeksiz-ucus-sosyal-medyada-yanki-buldu/ cialis prescription confidence, sexual attraction and satisfaction. 1. Refusing to lower the refusal percentage below 3% by October 2022 for Israelis who apply for a visa.
2. Granting the U.S. access to the Israeli criminal registry.
What are the next steps in this ridiculous process?
1. Establishing of inter-ministerial work teams to deal with the issues.
2. The arrival of an American team to examine the issues closely.
3. Holding monthly conversations.
Who is kidding whom? The U.S. could grant the visa exemption tomorrow. Obviously the Biden Administration is holding out for concessions from Jerusalem.
What a joke . . .
Dozens of Hollywood actors and actresses led by Richard Gere, Mark Ruffalo, Susan Sarandon, and Clare Foy have signed a petition calling on Israel to take the six Palestinian terror organizations off of the terror list.
The actors and actresses say they are “proud to protect the rights of Palestinian citizens” and call the listing “an unprecedented attack on Palestinian human rights defenders.”
Your humble servant wants to throw up.
TODAY’S BLOG:
The Utterly Incompetent Benny Gantz
You may remember dear reader that during one of the recent election campaigns, it came to light that somehow the Iranians had gotten hold of Defense Minister Benny Gantz’s telephone.
At the time, it was rumored that conversations between Gantz and his mistress or mistresses were on the phone–a rumor that was never proven. Of greater concern was possible important security information the Iranians got hold of–and how they got hold of the phone in the first place?
Nothing ever came of any of the telephone episode because the media buried the story.
However, today it was revealed that separate from the phone fiasco an employee working closely with Gantz, a housecleaner named Omri Goren, was actually an Iranian spy and has been arrested for espionage.
Our security forces want us to believe that he was discovered before any damage could have been done.
Who knows whether this can be believed or not?
The basic point is that Gantz cannot be trusted with anything, and his incompetence is symbolic of our current government’s total incompetence.
