Esther Pollard. May her memory always be for a blessing.

Esther Pollard

We are all saddened today by the death of Esther Pollard, the wife of Jonathan Pollard. Her indefatigable spirit and the tenacious way she fought for decades for her husband to be released will never be forgotten. She never left his side once he emerged from his incarceration.

May Esther's memory always be for a blessing.

May Esther’s memory always be for a blessing.

The Nonsensical Quotation of the Day

“I believe in doing everything to strive for peace. In my meeting with Abu Mazen, I told him that we would both have to store our dreams. He agreed. I chose to strengthen the Palestinian economy and demand something in return. We must allow a political horizon. Relations with the Palestinians will expand.”

So-called “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz speaking in the Knesset yesterday about the meeting in his home with PLO Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (aka Abu Mazen).

Abu Mazen agreed to store his dreams? Let’s remember what Abu Mazen’s senior advisor Mahmoud Al-Habash crowed hours after the meeting:

“We gained achievements and paid nothing. We are in a constant state of confrontation and struggle with the Israeli enemy. “

What did Israel get in return for all the concessions that Gantz gave?

Absolutely nothing.

And now we have it from the horse’s mouth that more concessions to the Palestinians are on the way.

The News on the Israeli Street

Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .

Palestinian terrorists using Molotovs and “rocks” attacked Israelis near the Avraham Hassano Junction, near the Eyal Crossing, on Road 55 at the Ma’ale Shomron Junction, on Road 465 near Betari Avod, and on Road 446 at the Ofarim Junction among other places.

Palestinian terrorists tried to burn down the security fence at Karmi Tzur.

An Israeli soldier was wounded at Ofarim and had to be evacuated by MADA paramedics to Beilinson Hospital.

The above information comes from Rescue Without Boundaries SSF.

The daily Corona update . . .

Just as we surmised yesterday, the downturn in daily confirmed cases and active cases appears not to have been a factor of the current surge having peaked. Instead, it was most likely because fewer people were getting tested during the recent bad weather.

74,312 new cases of Corona were confirmed yesterday bringing to 421,490 the number of active cases in the country.

The positive test rate was an astronomical 29.73%.

1,099 Israelis are in very serious condition; 322 are in critical condition on ventilators.

55 Israelis died yesterday, bringing to 8,724 the total number of Israelis who have died since the pandemic began.

It has been viagra buy online deeprootsmag.org long established that non-affected men shall experience a number of erections (3 to 5 times) during their night’s sleep. In addition, heavy consumption of drinks can also lead to some other physical and mental problems in the long run such as blindness, sleep problems, and mental illness to name a few. on line viagra click for source This exercise furthermore entails blatant, groaning sounds which can be produced with the rumbling of the soft tissue in the thoracic section, or mid-section, of cialis 5mg generika the spine. It is almost cialis generic canada rare to find someone who doesn’t have side effects from their antidepressant medication.
All of this and our government continues to insist that Israel is managing the Corona virus better than any country in the world.

What a sad joke.

The price of electricity. . .

The price of electricity like the price of everything is going up. According to a decision by the Electricity Authority last month, it was supposed to rise by 4.9%, but today it was decided to raise the price by 5.7%.

Why?

Because of continued coal price increases–which have risen by more than 100% in the past year.

You may be surprised to learn that Israel still relies on coal, but 23% of all electricity used in households in the country comes from coal. This percentage is supposed to decline to zero by the year 2026–but that depends on increased production of natural gas, and that–as we have pointed out in previous blogs–is not going very smoothly.

TODAY’S BLOG

“Dying As A Martyr For The Sake Of Liberating It”

In June 2021, the Georg Eckert Institute published a report that was commissioned by the European Commission on the content of Palestinian textbooks. That report identified extensive incitement to violence. In response to the report, the PLO said that it would remove such passages in the textbooks for the coming year.

A new report out recently observes that the PLO has not followed through on its promise in its production of “study cards” for each subject and grade.

In this OneIsrael blog, we are not going to go through each of the examples given in the new report. Suffice it to say that many are like the following:

—–

Palestinian Authority Ministry of Education

Study Cards 2021-22

Grades 1-11

Subject: Islamic Education, Grade 5, Card 11, Quarter 2, Semester 1

What is our duty to Al-Aqsa Mosque?

Protecting and defending it, chasing away the Occupation, committing jihad, and dying as a martyr for the sake of liberating it, making sure to pray inside it.

—–

Think about this for a moment.

5th grade Palestinian children aged 10-11 are being encouraged to die as a martyr for the sake of liberating the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Think about it in connection to Benny Gantz’s absurd quotation above.

Gantz is determined to make “peace” with enemies who are teaching their children to kill us.

It is incomprehensible.
