The positive test rate was 21.77%.
1,070 people are hospitalized in very serious condition; another 345 are in critical condition on ventilators.
9,434 Israelis have died—an increase of 64 since yesterday.
The amazing fact is now that the government has thrown in the towel in surrender to Corona, there is little to no governmental talk of green passports, vaccinations, restrictions, or anything else. There is just a resignation that “everybody is going to get sick sooner or later.”

The news from the neighborhood . . .
In case you missed the news two days ago, Syrian anti-aircraft missiles missed their targets during a Israeli bombing run near Damascus, and crashed to earth near Umm al-Fahm and Jenin. We here at OneIsrael have long suspected and written that the Syrians (or Russians) miss their targets on purpose in order to strike Israel.
Yesterday, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a blunt warning to Israel to stop carrying out attacks in Israel.
No apartheid in Israel . . .
We all know that there is no apartheid in Israel, but that does not stop despicable organizations like Amnesty International and UNESCO from saying that there is.
Yesterday, in an almost shocking statement, the head of the Islamist Ra’am Party, Mansour Abbas, had this to say in an interview with the Associated Press:
“I would not call the situation in Israel apartheid. I prefer to describe the situation objectively. If there is discrimination on a particular issue, I would call it discrimination, not apartheid.”
Of course, Abbas is the perfect example of the fact that there is no apartheid in Israel. His Israeli-Arab Islamist Party is an integral part of the governing coalition and is, in fact, what is keeping it afloat.

The Lefties Of The World Just Don’t Care

It never ceases to amaze your humble servant how the world–and the Israeli “left”–turns a blind eye to the terrorist incitement coming out of the mouth of Mahmoud Abbas. No matter what he says, the world beats a path to the door of their beloved “Palestinian peacemaker.”
The events of the past few days have been a case in point:
1. During the latter part of January and early February, a cell of Palestinian terrorists belonging to Fatah’s Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade roamed the highways of Judea and Samaria shooting at IDF soldiers at roadsides, junctions, and at observation posts. Fatah’s Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigade operates under the direct orders of Mahmoud Abbas and the PLO.
2. On Tuesday afternoon, combined forces of the IDF and Shin Bet cornered the cell in Shechem (aka Nablus). The cell was heavily armed inside a car. When our forces surrounded the car, a firefight ensued. All three of the terrorists in the car were killed and their M16 assault rifles were seized.
3. The PLO pr machine went quickly into operation, terming the Israeli action “a horrific crime” and demanding an international investigation. Members of the Israeli “left” condemned what they said was “an execution” and also demanded an investigation.
4. Yesterday, following the grand funerals organized by the PLO, Abbas spoke by telephone at the mourning tent in Shechem: “This is a deliberate murder committed by the Zionist occupier of our people . . . we have been patient for 73 years. We have run out of patience. We will not allow a repeat of this assassination in Nablus.”
This is the arch-terrorist speaking that Benny Gantz invited to his home in Israel last month, and this is the terrorist who hosted the German Ambassador in Ramallah today: an unrepentant terrorist who calls Israel “the Zionist occupier of our people” and who refers to being occupied for “73 years” (giving full throat to the lie that the Palestinians are only interested in returning to the June 4 1967 lines).
But it makes no difference what Abbas says. The “lefties” of the world just don’t care.
And so it goes in Israel today.
