The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists struck Israeli motorists on Road 55 between the Eliyahu Crossing and Nabi Eliyas, between Tapuach and Eviatar, at the Burqa Junction between Chomesh and Shavei Shomron, on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road north of Beit Omer, at Tekoa, in the vicinity of Luban a-Sharqiya, and at a multitude of other locations.
The above information was reported to Rescue Without Boundaries SSF.
Ben & Jerry’s Israel sues Unilever Global . . .
Here at OneIsrael we have been very critical of Ben & Jerry’s and its parent company Unilever because of their decision to boycott Judea and Samaria.
However, from the beginning, the owner of the Ben & Jerry’s franchise in Israel, Avi Singer, has pleaded with the Israeli public to continue buying its ice cream because he says that the boycott decision does not represent his or his workers’ views.
Yesterday, Avi Singer/Ben & Jerry’s filed a lawsuit in the U.S. against Unilever. Part of the complaint reads:
“Your demand from Avi Singer not to sell in parts of Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria is against Israeli and American law.”
The suit demands that the U.S. Court “recognize Unilever’s global demand as illegal.”
Kolakevod to Avi Singer!

Devolving Into Jelly: The Fear Factor
Your humble servant has watched aghast as Russian forces have systematically begun laying waste to Ukraine and in the process murdering thousands of civilians. At the same time, he has watched dumbfounded at how Russian troop and weapon columns are lined up like ducks in a row in a 40 mile convoy edging ever closer to encircling Kyiv.
The obvious question is why isn’t some entity wiping out the column–something A-10 Warthogs or bombers could accomplish in less than an hour. Of course the Ukrainians don’t have any A-10s or bombers, but NATO and the United States certainly do.
But we all know by now that NATO and the U.S. do not want to get involved in air or ground fighting in the Ukraine even in the face of Putin’s brutal invasion. Yes, they can send Javelin and Stinger missiles and other weapons, but they, personally, will not use them.
And we all know why.
Everyone is afraid that such engagement might ignite World War III. To put it more succinctly, they are afraid. They have completely surrendered to Putin’s threats and his putting his nuclear forces on “high alert.”
So as the brave Ukrainians go down the drain, the world watches.
I was thinking about this as it relates to Israel.
Fortunately, at the moment Israel does not face any foes with nuclear weapons—though this is likely to change in the near future as the P5+1 goes forward with its new Nuclear Appeasement Agreement with Iran.
Yet the lack of a nuclear adversary does not mean that Israel does not cower in the face of its enemies or even its “friends”.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad have learned how to use the fear factor of threatening to fire missiles to intimidate a fearful Israel and IDF into inaction or even worse.
The Biden Administration has quickly learned how to use the fear factor to stop our craven government from acting on a number of fronts.
And now, our government is desperately trying not to stand with the Ukrainians because it too is afraid of Russia for reasons we have covered in previous blogs.
It is a sad thing to watch Israel and the world spinelessly devolve into jelly in the face of those who intimidate them.
