The pathetic way that lame duck PM Lapid is trying to get photo ops with the feeble Biden is simply ludicrous.

Gideon Sa’ar, head of the New Hope Party which just merged Benny Gantz’s Blue and White Party.
This is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Sa’ar and Gantz have spent the last year enacting one leftist proposal after another and now Sa’ar is calling Lapid a leftist?

Today’s Corona update . . .
11,698 Israelis tested positive yesterday (out of 38,548 tested) bringing to 68,952 the number of active patients in the country.
The positive test rate was 30.35%; the coefficient of infection was 0.94%.
384 Israelis are seriously ill; 94 are critically ill—78 of these are on ventilators.
11,101 have died–an increase of 32 since yesterday.
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
Palestinian terrorists used Molotovs, IEDs, and “rocks” to attack Israelis on Mt. Hevron north of Dahariya, in Huwara south of Shechem, at Kiryat Netafim, at Luban a-Sharqiya, and at a dozen other locations.

The Dangerous Concessions Made By Israel Today
This has been the unbelievable sequence of announcements today.
First, Israel announced plans to halt construction planning on 2000 new homes in the Pisgat Zeev Jewish neighborhood of eastern Jerusalem, and in the “Givat Hashaked” neighborhood near the Beit Safafa.
This was followed in short order by:
–a change in “open fire” orders to IDF soldiers in order to reduce the number of terrorists killed trying to infiltrate Israel.
–the approval of six new building zones for Palestinians in Area C in Hizma, Harmala, Fukeikis, Hares, Kisan, and Battir–which green lights the PLO transferring Palestinians into Area C from Areas A and B.
–the approval of an additional 1,500 worker permits for Gazans bringing the total number to 15,000.
–the opening of a new vehicular crossing in northern Samaria near Salem to make it easier for Israeli-Arabs to enter the Palestinian terror capital of Jenin.
–the granting of residency status to 5,000 Palestinians who have moved to the “West Bank” from Gaza or abroad–bringing to 17,000 the number approved this year.
–the postponement of the demolition of homes or rooms belonging to Palestinian terrorists who murdered Israelis.
–the postponement of a discussion by the Supreme Planning Board of the Civil Administration on construction in the E1 area between Ma’ale Adumim and Jerusalem until September.
This is all frankly unbelievable.
Your humble servant thinks that it is fair to say that no American president visiting Israel has ever been kowtowed to like the extraordinarily weak President Biden.
What are the dangerous effects of the above concessions?
To change the facts on the ground in Judea, Samaria, and Jerusalem–in other words, to “Palestinize” Israel.
To facilitate terrorist attacks against Israelis by opening a new door to Jenin, by not carrying out court-ordered demolitions, by allowing more Gazans into the country, and most importantly by changing yet again the open fire orders against terrorists.
This morning there is new talk that Biden and Lapid are going to sign a “Jerusalem Declaration” before Biden leaves.
Who knows what Lapid will give away this time?
