The Photos of the Day
Your humble servant was searching for the right adjective to describe the two photos above: sad, infuriating, unsurprising, grim. . . there are many we could use.
Somehow these two photos capture the essence of what is going on on hilltops all over Area C in Judea and Samaria.
Brave, young families are doing their best to fulfill the Zionist vision of reclaiming our ancestral homeland only to have their efforts thwarted by a government wholly dedicated to turning that ancestral homeland over to the Palestinians.
The News on the Israeli Street
Palestinian terror in the last 24 hours . . .
The surge of Palestinian violence continues.
Wounded in the above attack:
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israeli with Molotovs, IEDs, and “rocks” between the Yakir Junction and Ravva, between the Givat Assaf Junction and Ofra, near the large Yitzhar Junction, between Migdalim and Tapuach, at the Ma’ale Amos Junction, at Havmat Gilad, beside Al Aruv, and at numerous other locations.

From The Jordan To The Sea Only One Flag Will Be Raised!
As grim as the photos at the head of this blog today were, so were the photos below inspiring.
Yesterday, some 1000 French speaking tourists and immigrants came to Hevron and staged a dramatic flag parade organized by “Israel is Forever.”
This parade has taken place every year for the past 35 years in coordination with the Shevi Hevron Yeshiva. It is held in memory of Jacques Kupfer who founded Israel is Forever and Hevron Day and was a stalwart in the Jewish reclaiming of Hevron.
When Kupfer passed away, the head of the World Zionist Organization eulogized him:
“For decades, Jacques has been teaching love of the land, the values of Zionism, settlement and the struggle against Antisemitism. He fought until his last day and believed in the righteousness of his way. He saw himself as a successor to Zev Jabotinsky’s teaching, and inspired numerous youth in Israel and the Diaspora in Jewish identity, Zionist, aliyah and pride.
One of the leaders of the parade proclaimed the purpose of the event:
“We came to strengthen the heroes who guard the city of the ancestors, the source of our right over the entire land, for the sake of all the people of Israel. We have come to say with a strong and determined voice: from the Jordan to the sea, only one flag will be raised: the flag of Zionism, the flag of sovereignty, the flag of the State of Israel!”
