A female IDF soldier in front of her “gender tank”. After a 2-year study, the IDF General Command has decided that women who want to serve in the armored corps need to have “female-only tanks”. They will be placed along the Israel-Sinai border.

It was announced yesterday that the U.N.’s Special Committee of the United Nations on Politics and Decolonization accepted a proposal of the Palestinians and will try a case against Israel at the abominable International Court of Justice in The Hague.

A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
