The Israelis murdered in yesterday’s attack:
Tamir was the 50-year-old father of six from Kiryat Netafim.
Michael was the 36-year-old father of two who immigrated to Israel five years ago and lived in Bat Yam.
Mordechai was 59-years-old and also lived in Bat Yam. As of this hour, information about his family has not been released.
May the memory of these good men always be for a blessing.
Two final notes on the murders:
1. The terrorist began his barbaric attacks at the factory where he worked. He arrived at the gates of the factory in the morning, and immediately stabbed one of the two security guards. The other security guard rushed to help his friend, but instead of firing at the terrorist fired his gun into the air. From there, the terrorist ran 70 meters to the gas station where he murdered the first two of his victims.
The question of why the security guard did not fire at the terrorist is a simple one to answer. Just as what happened at the Shuafat Crossing last month and in Samaria after that, the security guard was probably fearful of being prosecuted if he shot the terrorist. This is one of the reasons we need Itamar Ben Gvir as Interior Security Minister–to loosen the open fire regulations.
2. Extremely unpublicized is the fact that the terrorist was the son of a high level security prisoner in Israel. Why in the world he was given a work permit for employment in Israel is beyond comprehension.
