As the smell of the cooking turkey wafts its way upwards to my study, your humble servant would like to wish all of you who the holiday a very happy Thanksgiving. I hope you eat your fill with your family and friends!

The News on the Street in Israel 

The war in Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem, and central Israel.

A terrorist stabbed Yuri Volkov to death in Holon two days ago–only now is it being treated as terrorism.

A terrorist ran over an 18-year-old man in Beersheva this morning (click here to see the video). The boy is currently in the trauma unit in Soroka Hospital in “very serious” condition.

It was revealed this morning that Shin Bet thwarted a bomb attack on a bus in southern Israel—that was to be carried out by a “worker” from Gaza who received a work permit from Benny Gantz.

IED, Molotov, and “rock” attacks.

Palestinian terrorists assaulted Israelis on a bus near Al-Aruv, on the Jerusalem-Gush Etzion Road between the Al-Khader Junction and tunnel checkpoint, near Beit Omer, at Tekoa, Singil, Luban a-Sharqiya, and at dozens of other locations.

The double bombings in Jerusalem yesterday . . .

It was less than 24 hours ago that Aryeh Shechopek was murdered on a street in Jerusalem–murdered by a bomb blast that exploded nails, nuts, bolts, and other projectiles into the air. The person who was sitting beside him remains in extremely critical condition with shrapnel in his brain.

The second bomb which exploded at the Ramot Junction could have been far worse. A gas cannister that was attached to the explosive device failed to explode–undoubtedly saving the lives of many people who were there.

No terrorist group has “claimed responsibility” for these heinous acts; however, it is somewhat amazing that the only video of the Ramot blast has appeared on social media this morning courtesy of Iranian hackers.

To reiterate, the terrorists who carried out the attacks have not been caught.

But guess what?

Instead of searching for the terrorists, Benny Gantz’s IDF and Civil Administration forces were out early this morning destroying–for the 5th time–Jewish homes in the community of Nachalat Zvi.

As one of the community residents declared today: 

“The terrorists who carried out last night’s murderous attack are still walking around freely, but in the eyes of the security establishment, the real existential danger are Jewish pioneers who guard the nation’s lands against the Arab takeover. The country has lost its direction.”

Your humble servant could not have said it better.

You Shouldn’t Mess With The Druze

Let’s review what happened in the complicated situation in Jenin during the last 48 hours.

Tiran Ferro, a young Druze man, decided to go with a friend of his to Jenin to change the tires on his car.

You might ask why in the world would he decide to go to the terror hotspot of Jenin to do this?

You would be surprised to learn that idiotic “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz via his Civil Administration published this message intended for Israeli-Arabs earlier this year:

“Jenin? Great Jenin! Jenin is progressing, the goods are fresh and tourism is booming!”

As Ferro neared Jenin, he lost control of his car and crashed off the side of the road. The car was destroyed. Ferro and his passenger were critically injured, and were taken to the hospital in Jenin.

Once there, Ferro–the most badly injured–was placed on a ventilator and attached to IVs to keep him alive.

Shortly thereafter, terrorists from Islamic Jihad arrived. They murdered Ferro by unhooking him from the ventilator and IVs. They then took his body, and issued a statement that his body would only be returned if Israel released the bodies of dead terrorists.

Later, PLO security arrived at the scene where the body was. They took the body and turned it over to the Red Crescent ambulance service. The ambulance was immediately commandeered by Islamic Jihad which removed the body and continued with their demands.

After this, the enraged Druze in Tiran’s home of Daliyat Al-Carmel began to issue threats of their own and said that they were organizing a march to Jenin to recover the body. 

Later last night, the Druze released a short video (click here to see) showing that they had seized an Arab from Jenin and were going to execute him forthwith if Tiran’s body was not released. 

At the same time, the Lapid-Gantz government (which is still in power) frantically began “negotiations” involving the PLO, UN, and everyone else they could think of to get the body back.

By 4 am this morning, the body was released and handed over to the Druze family.

So what is the bottom line?

Benny Gantz issued this absurd statement this morning:

“I would like to express my appreciation to the Palestinian Authority for its action to return the late Tiran Pero to his family. This is a basic humanitarian step . . .”

Your humble servant wants to throw up.

“I would like to express my appreciation to the Palestinian Authority?” Let’s get this straight. Jenin is supposed to be under the control of the Palestinian Authority. Tiran Ferro was murdered in a Palestinian Authority Hospital by Islamic Jihad terrorists who usually operate in collusion with the PLO. We are now reduced to having our “Defense” Minister thanking terrorists for returning a dead person who was killed under their watch.

Unbelievable. 

But it gets worse. Gantz now proclaims to the world that the PLO is “humanitarian”: “This is a basic humanitarian step.” 

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand that Tiran’s body was released less because of Benny Gantz and his friends in the PLO and more because the terrorists in Jenin were afraid of what the Druze might do.
