Quote of the Day
“For thirty years we have been living in a horrific reality. The PLO (which some call the Palestinian Authority) that we ourselves established, armed, and built to fight terrorism via the Oslo Accords–entered into its statutes a law requiring it to pay a generous reward for anyone who murders Jews.
There is no other law like this in the entire world, a law that calls for the murder of Jews for payment. Only here, right next to us, on the soil of our country, does such a law exist, and it exacts an unbearably heavy blood price from us, and we remain silent. We continue to treat the Palestinian Authority as a subcontractor for the fight against terrorism, instead of as a cruel enemy.”
Orit Strook, Knesset Legislator from the Religious Zionist Party. Strook is a resident of Hevron. She and her husband have 11 children.
Orit could not be more correct in her assessment. The whitewashing of the PLO that began with Rabin and Peres continues until today.
How can any Israeli government continue to make deals with a terror organization that pays people to murder us?

Netanyahu’s Likud and Ben Gvir’s Otzma Yehudit Join Forces
Yariv Levin (right) of Likud and Chanamel Dorfman of Otzma Yehudit (left) signing the agreement early this morning.
The government took a major a step toward formation with the agreement signed last night between Benjamin Netanyahu and Itamar Ben Gvir. It is estimated that the government may now be formed by early next week.
The agreement is breathtakingly positive.
It calls for:
–The naming of Ben Gvir as “Minister of National Security”. This is the old “Minister of Public Security” (currently held by the abominable Omer Bar-Lev) with expanded powers. Basically, Ben Gvir will control statewide law enforcement and oversee the Israel Police, the Israel Prison Service, and the Israel National Fire and Rescue Services.
Some of the expanded powers are that he will be in charge of the Green Police (an environmental protection unit), Green Patrol (a subunit of the Green Police which focuses on illegal Bedouin construction and land use in the south), the Land Enforcement Authority, and the IOSH (occupational and safety) inspectors.
–The naming of Ben Gvir’s second in command, Yitzhak Wasserlauf, as Ministry for the Development of the Negev and the Galilee and National Social Resilience. This ministry will also be involved in the “regulation” of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria.
–The naming of Otzma MK Amichai Eliyahu as Heritage Minister–which will be formed to administer archaeological sites, including in Judea and Samaria.
–The tentative naming of Otzma MK Almog Cohen as Deputy Economy Minister.
–The appointment of Otzma MK Tzvika Foghel as chairman of the Knesset Public Security Committee.
–The appointment of Otzma MK Limor Son Har-Melech to chair the Knesset’s Special Committee for the Israeli Citizens’ Fund.
In addition to the above three ministers and 1 deputy minister, Likud and Otzma have agreed on a host of other initiatives such as:
–The creation of large-scale national guard to return security to the streets.
–The legalization of the Evyatar Jewish community.
All of the above will bring substantial change to Israel–hopefully reversing the abyss into which Israel has fallen in the last 18 months.
On that happy note, we wish you:
Shabbat Shalom!
