Special Notice

Your humble servant will be traveling in the Middle East, west Indian Ocean, and in southern Africa for the next 25 days in some locations with limited internet accessibility (today I am in Oman). OneIsrael will appear as possible during December.

Today on the Israeli Street

The war on the Gaza border and in Judea and Samaria:

On the Gaza border.

Palestinian terrorists fired 5 missiles at southern Israel yesterday. At least two of them exploded in “open spaces” in the Eshkol Region. It is believed that the other three did not make it out of Gaza; however, that will almost certainly be revised in coming days when missile parts are found.

In retaliation, Israeli jets struck the usual sand dunes, observation posts, and empty buildings.

As these “attacks” were taking place, Palestinians fired anti-aircraft weapons at the planes causing the air force to strike areas for a second time in Gaza.

In Judea and Samaria.

A stabbing attack.

A stabbing attack yesterday in Hawara resulted in two IDF soldiers being wounded, and the Palestinian terrorist shot to death. The soldier who killed the terrorist is already being targeted for assassination by Palestinian social media.

IED, Molotov, and “rock attacks.

Palestinian terrorists tried to murder Israelis near Marda, at the Halhol Bridge, at Nabi Elias, Deir Istaiya, northeast of Ramallah, al-Fawwar southwest of Hevron, and at a dozen other locations.

A shooting attack.

Palestinian terrorists opened fire in the direction of Beit El. IDF soldiers were not able to capture the shooters.

Speaking of terrorists . . .

Two Palestinian cousins, Karim and Maher Younes, are expected to be released from Israeli prison in the coming months.

In 1980, the cousins kidnapped IDF soldier Avraham Bromberg as he was returning home from his base, They proceeded to take his weapon, kill him with it, and dump his body on the road near the Hadera Junction.

They were later captured, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death–a sentence later reduced to life imprisonment. Some years later then-President Shimon Peres ridiculously authorized their release in January 2023.

They should be left to rot in prison.

Speaking of prison . . .

The IDF soldier in Hevron who was absurdly arrested last week for saying “Ben Gvir will make order here” to a group of humanitarian terrorists was released today after serving 6 days of his 10 day sentence.

That he was imprisoned was beyond the absurd.

On the Iranian front . . .

The Iranian news agency Taznim reported today that 4 Iranians were hanged today after being convicted of helping the Mossad carry out attacks in Iran this past June.

On the sporting front . . .

Ethiopian Israeli Maro Tefri was the Pakuka Marathon in Japan with a time of 2:06:43–15 seconds faster than the previous Israeli record.

Kolakevod to Maro!
