As you know, your humble servant does not post a regular blog on Shabbat instead offering a few photos for your perusal.

The note that outgoing PM Lapid left for incoming PM Netanyahu.

The cheesy note that outgoing PM Lapid left for incoming PM Netanyahu.

Most outgoing politicians leave positive notes of “good luck” to those replacing them. Not so Yair Lapid. Lapid’s note to Netanyahu reads: “Lapid 2024.” Hopefully this new government will last long past 2024, and the abominable Lapid will never be prime minister again.

Iranian author

Iranian author Mehdi Bahman

An Islamic Court in Iran sentenced Bahman to death yesterday because he was interviewed by Israel’s Channel 13.

The poll

The poll asked “Are you satisfied with the composition of the new government?”

The leftist Israeli media is now consumed with producing fraudulent polls showing that Israelis dislike our new government. To counter these, Avri Gilad who hosts “The World This Morning” on Israeli TV conducted his own poll. 63% of his viewers like the incoming government, 31% oppose it, and 6% have no opinion.

Dina Khalil

Dina Khalil.

Dina Khalil (22) was an Israeli-Arab resident of Jadeida Makar who was studying nursing in Jordan. Three days ago she “fell from a height” in Amman and was critically injured. Transported to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, she could not be saved–and her parents decided to donate her organs to Israelis in need.

Outgoing “Defense” Minister Benny Gantz meeting with new Defense MInister Yoav Galant yesterday.

You may not remember but it was Gantz who took the job of IDF Chief of Staff from Galant years ago when “it was revealed” that Galant had unknowingly formed a driveway to his home on government land (which had been listed in the local planning committee as belonging to him). The two have had frosty relations since then.

The newest addition to the Ramat Gan Safari.

The newest addition to the Ramat Gan Safari.

This beautiful two-year-old Persian leopard that came from the Beauval Zoo in France will hopefully breed with the existing male tiger at the Safari. The Persian leopard is listed as critically endangered.
