Yom Shabbat
Saturday
27 Shvat 5783
February 18 2023
Regular readers of OneIsrael know that your humble servant does not publish a blog on Shabbat, but instead posts photos and graphics for your perusal. Herewith today’s selection:
A beautiful photo of a rainbow made by Shlomi Gabai as he was driving up Highway 6 yesterday. The recent bad weather has finally abated for a few days.
Next up:
The oil tanker “Campo Square in the Arabian Gulf. It was hit by Revolutionary Guard vessels and suicide drones a few days ago. The ship is operated by Israeli Eyal Ofer. Amazingly, little damage was done and the ship continued on course.
And from yesterday:
The usual motley cast of international and Israeli leftists with PLO flags at Shimon HaTzaddik (near Sheikh Jarrah) in Jerusalem. Israeli police surround the “protesters.”
More bad news for Palestinian prisoners:
The gradual benefits installed in prisoners’ cells over the years. Yesteday, it was announced that Minister of National Security has ordered the removal of kettles and hot plates from cells (graphic middleeasteye.net).
And finally, the weekly Shabbat Shalom:
Shabbat shalom from cold members of the IDF 91st Division . Notice the snow on the ground beside the doors to the buildings. Known as the Galilee Formation, the 91st is responsible for the front with Lebanon–from Rosh HaNikra to Mt. Hermon.
