As regular readers of OneIsrael know, we do not normally publish a blog on Shabbat; today, we are merely publishing a time line of the last 24 hours here in Israel because circumstances warrant.
Friday
6:43 am: Palestinian terrorists fire the last missile in the mini-war at Nahal Oz. During the Wednesday-Thursday-early Friday morning mini-war southern and northern Israel were struck by some 100 missiles and mortars. The hardest hit location was Sderot.
11:31 am: A Palestinian terrorist slaughtered two sisters (15, 21) from Efrat at the northern Jordan Valley Hamra Junction. As captured on a security video, he first crashed his car into theirs, then got out and opened fire with an assault weapon hitting the girls in the front seat. Then he went to the car and shot the girls at point blank range to make sure they were dead. Their mother, Leah Bat Tzippora, who was in the back seat was also riddled with bullets, but as of this hour is still alive and needs your prayers. The terrorist is still at large.
2:16 pm: Friday prayers ended at the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Hamas flags were immediately raised:
Hamas murders our citizens and then has its flags raised on the Temple Mount in our capital. Unbelievable.
2:52 pm: Palestinian terrorists attempted to crash an Israeli car off the road in Mt. Hevron, but fled when they saw the Israeli was armed.
4:05 pm: Palestinian terrorists in Gaza attempt to launch more missiles at Israel, but missiles fall in Gaza.
4:36 pm: IDF forces shot down a drone from Lebanon that entered Israel at Zerait in northern Israel.
7:03 pm: Palestinian terrorists opened fire on IDF soldiers in Taysir and Nur al-Shams.
8:01 pm: Two Palestinian terrorists were killed after they opened fire on an IDF force in northern Samaria.
9:46 pm: An Israeli-Arab who from Kfar Qasem (apparently) who self-identifies as a Palestinian carried out a terrorist ramming attack on the Tel Aviv Promenade. One 36 year old Italian tourist was murdered; 8 more tourists from Italy and the U.K. were wounded. The terrorist was shot and killed. 11:55 pm: IDF forces and terrorists in Burkin near Jenin engaged in a firefight. There are no reports this morning of those wounded or killed.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
