Your humble servant still cannot get over the explosion of PLO flags on the streets of Tel Aviv along with those of Antifa. What has happened to the Israeli “Left” is that it has almost completely turned into not only an anti-government movement but also an anti-Israel movement:

Palestinian terrorists opened fire on IDF troops in Aqbat Jaber. One terrorist was shot and killed.
IED, Molotov, and “rock” attacks:
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis on the Jerusalem-Gush Etzion Road between the Al-Khader Junction and North Efrat Junctions, at the Jit Junction, Gilad Farm, between Hizma and Anot, north of Ofra, between Lanat and Hizma, on the Hosan Bypass, on Road 55 near Kedumim, and at numerous other places.

Justice Minister Levin’s Outrageous Accusations Against The U.S.!
It has been a morning of condemnations directed at Justice Minister Yariv Levin–the person most behind the judicial reforms.
The always abominable Benny Gantz ranted this:
“I don’t accept his [Levin’s] criticism of the Americans, I don’t think they are involved here. To say they are involved is baseless and dangerous.”
The equally abominable Gilad Karib of the Labor Party said this:
“After the tremendous damage that Minister Levin caused to relations within Israeli society, he also turns to causing dramatic damage to relations with the American government by spreading lies and fabricated stories.”
Baseless. Dangerous. Dramatic Damage. Spreading Lies. Fabricated Stories.

What horrible comments did Levin make about the Americans?
Last night, at a meeting with ultra-orthodox activists at the home of Yossi Rosenbaum, Levin said this: “There is no doubt that we are at an unimaginable disadvantage. They (the Opposition) hold the Supreme Court, the Attorney General, all the heads of the economic system–and the American administration is working in cooperation with them on this matter as you see from the things that are said by the people in the Biden Administration. I don’t think there is a conspiracy against the reforms; they do it from their true perception.”
OMG! OMG!
But wait . . . All Levin said is that judging by what the people in the Biden Administration say and have said, it is cooperating in the fight against the reforms.
Isn’t that beyond obvious?
From President Biden to Vice President Blinkin to National Security Advisor Sullivan to U.S. Ambassador to Israel Nides, all we have heard for months is a chorus of how they are against the reforms. None of them ever miss an opportunity to excoriate the judicial reform.
Levin is absolutely correct–and absolutely correct to say what he did.
A student from Malawi, who had worked with an Israeli health volunteer in his country battling AIDS, came up to us as we walked down the street in the UC-Davis Picnic Day Parade and wanted to carry the Israeli flag.
