The Quote of the Day
“Iran is operating four battleground centers against us, and this is beginning to eat away at Israeli deterrence, which was already shaky anyway . . . We are victims of our own weakness.
Even if Khader Adnan [the hunger-striking prisoner who died] had survived, there would have been another excuse for attacking us. The Western mind thinks in terms of cause and effect. Our enemies don’t see the offensive, proactive, and cunning Israel, and that is the biggest hole in our defense. All we have now done is buy silence for another two weeks.
The Saudis went to Iran because Israel did not keep its promise to do something about Iranian nuclear developments. Israel is dragging her feet. Once again, when your goal is silence, you are attacked by missiles. The IDF is an army that is afraid of Gaza.“
Zvi Yehezkeli, a leading Arab news commentator on Israeli television.
Yehezkeli could not be more correct. The terror around us whether in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Lebanon, and Syria is being orchestrated by Iran. Israeli weakness is plain for all to see–especially on the Gaza front where the IDF is obviously afraid of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. Whatever happened to the offensive, proactive, and cunning Israel?
The News on the Israeli Street
The war in Judea and Samaria.
Shooting attack:
Palestinian terrorists opened fire on Israelis at the Jalama Crossing near Jenin. No Israelis were wounded; the terrorists escaped.
Stabbing attack:
A Palestinian terrorist stabbed and slightly wounded a soldier in the shoulder at Hawara. The terrorist was shot and killed.
“Rock”, Molotov, and IED attacks:
Palestinian terrorists attacked Israelis between Migdalim and Tapuach, in Hawara, between Itamar and Elon Moreh, between Beyat and Einbus, 5oo meters before the Tapuach Junction, at Beit Omer, the Zif Junction, on Road 55 between Nebi Elias and Azzun (woman and child wounded), on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Road near Al Aruv, near the Eliahu Crossing, and at dozens of other locations.
Sick and sicker . . .
The anti-government protests are becoming more perverse by the day. Today we have had displays of empty, flag-draped coffins in the street:
Or how about this in front of Itamar Ben Gvir’s home today:
About the anti-government protests . . .
In a closed zoom call yesterday which obviously was not closed, the protest leaders bemoaned the dwindling number of protesters, admitted that the actual number of those protesting is smaller than what is being reported, and the fact that the pro-government supporters are getting stronger.
They reiterated that their goal is to overthrow the government.
TODAY’S BLOG
Avenged! Justice Is Done.
Over the last month, Lucy Dee’s organs have been in the process of being donated.
Daniel Geresh (25) received her liver; Mordechai Elkabetz (51) received one kidney; Ahmed Sullivan received her other kidney; her lungs were donated to an anonymous person; her corneas will be donated in the near future.
Perhaps most emotionally, Lucy Dee’s heart was donated to Lital Valenci (51). This past week, the entire Dee family visited Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva and were able to listen via stethoscope to their mother’s heart beating in Valenci.
Yet still, the Dees murderers eluded capture.
Until early this morning.
They were finally tracked down in the casbah in Shechem (Nablus). An undercover Yamam unit dressed like women made their way to the two houses where three terrorists were holed up.
After surrounding the houses, a firefight ensued until finally our forces called in kamikaze drones which blew the houses and the terrorists apart.
The only Israeli casualty was Django, a 7-year-old Belgian Malinois police dog renowned for taking part in “hundreds” of anti-terrorist operations:
The bottom line is that the murderers who slaughtered the Dee family are dead. Justice has been done.
