A Joyous Jerusalem Day!

Sometimes one photo sums it up!

Sometimes one photo sums it up! A small boy celebrating Yom Yerushaliyim with his flag.

People of all ages partying in the streets of our eternal capital:

Young and old alike rejoicing!

Young and old rejoicing together!

With appropriate security all around:

The flag march goes through Sha'ar Shechem (the Nablus Gate) under the watchful eye of snipers overhead.

Not even the anarchists could stop the march or dim the spirits:

Dozens of unused flags placed in Sacher Park by leftists.

Dozens of unused flags dumped in Sacher Park by leftists. The absurd message on the blue and white flags: “Free the Palestinian people.”

They also tried to block celebrants from reaching the city:

Left wing anarchists tried to block the road into Jerusalem at the Tunnels Checkpoint. They were all arrested.

And what about thoseĀ  “massive” protests on the Gaza border fence?:

The "massive" protest that didn't happen. A few dozen waving one PLO flag. By the way, PLO Chairman Abbas flew off to Saudi Arabia this morning.

The scene at the Kotel tonight:

More than 50,000 celebrants at the Kotel tonight.

To sum the day up with one word: “JOYOUS”.

One final thought: as we suggested yesterday about would happen today, all the threats from Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and everyone else did not amount to a hill of beans.
