It may be hard to believe but Israel’s bureaucratic headache even extends receiving permission from the Minister of the Interior for the placement of bomb shelters. Today, the National Planning and Construction Council said that they have asked such permission to be fast tracked.
The bomb shelters are more needed than ever–after Iran displayed its first hypersonic missile today, a missile specifically designed to evade Israel missile defenses:

The Disingenuous Quote of the Day
“The IDF does not have the forces to set up roadblocks against terrorists because of the IDF’s preventative activity against settlers who make it difficult for the regional commander every evening.”
Defense Minister Yoav Galant speaking today
Can you believe this?
Now we have the Minister of Defense blaming members of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria for the IDF’s inability to man roadblocks against terrorists.
It is just unbelievable.
Those brave community members who are assaulted everyday with dozens of Palestinian “rock”, Molotov, IED, shooting, and run-over attacks are “making it difficult” for the IDF command structure.
Good grief..
What Galant may be really saying is the outrageous notion that the IDF is needed to protect the poor Palestinians from the community members who react after being terrorized.
Whatever the case, it appears from the events of the last two weeks that there is a severe soldier shortage.
Meir Damari was killed near Hermesh because a roadblock checkpoint had been abandoned months ago.
Ori Iluz, Lia Ben-Nun and Ohad Dahani were killed because there are not enough soldiers to be positioned along the Israel-Egypt border.
Galant should retract his statement and instead praise the intrepid souls to live in our ancestral homeland.
